Quality Policy / Processes

Production Process
The basic raw material for the production of cement is Limestone.  The Limestone ore as obtained from the Mines is fed to the Raw Mills after crushing it to acceptable size. Additives such as Laterite etc. are also fed alongwith Limestone into the Raw Mills as required. In the Raw Mills, the above inputs are ground to a particular fineness.    The output of the Raw Mills, called 'Raw Meal' is then burnt in the Kiln and then cooled to produce Clinker. The fuel used for burning of limestone is powdered coal produced from the coal Mill. The Clinker is thereupon fed into Cement Mill & pulverized alongwith Gypsum to yield the basic cement.  A certain proportion of Clinker in the production of cement is replaced by Flyash to produce PPC.

Infrastructure

Manikgarh Cement has its own Captive Mines with rich limestone reserves at a distance of about 8 kms from the plant. The mines' working is fully mechanized. The aesthetic view of the surrounding area has been maintained by afforestation of the mining area and also by creating water reservoir in the excavated area.

Manikgarh Cement has its own Captive Thermal Power Plant with a generating capacity of 15 MW which is helpful in uninterrupted running of the plants on sustainable basis.

Strategic location of plant puts Manikgarh Cement in a very advantageous position so far as logistic is concerned.  The plant is situated on New Delhi - Chennai Trunk Route.  The Plant is well connected to Chandrapur - Adilabad State Highway No. 282 enabling it to cater to the market of all major centers.
