Chemba Puttu Podi

Chemba Puttu Podi
Double horse CHEMBA PUTTU PODI is made by using different variety rice in a balanced combination, which retains a perfect colour, aroma, flavour and taste. Chemba puttu podi is nutritious, rich in B complex, vitamins & iron.

Ingredients:

1½ cups Double Hourse Chemba Puttu Podi, Enough water to moisten the flour (approximately ¾ cup), 1 cup freshly grated coconut.

How to prepare:

Take 1½ cup of Double Hourse Chemba Puttu Podi. Sprinkle water on it and start mixing it so as to make the powder wet. Keep on sprinkling water and continue mixing, till u can make lumps when you clasp but which can be easily crumbled. .After the mixture has enough moisture, run it in a grinder for a few seconds so that there are no lumps. Fill the PuttuKudam with water, not more than half its capacity. Place a handful of grated coconut in the Puttukutty (special utensil) and then add the Double Hourse Chemba Puttu Podi till half, now add another handful of grated coconut. Continue adding rice mixture and top it with some coconut. Close the lid and place the PuttuKutti on the PuttuKuddam and steam the Puttu for about 10-12 minutes. It is ready to be served with Mutta Curry or Kadala Curry or even with bananas.

 
 

Dosa

Dosa
Double Horse Dosa Mix is made from good quality parboiled rice and black gram, forms a balanced diet. Natural fermentation makes it rich in protein, improves the B Complex and vitamin C content.

Ingredients:

4 Cup Double Hourse Dosa Mix, Salt to taste.

How to Prepare:

Mix the Double Horse Dosa Mix with 4 cup of water. Grind to paste. Mix together, add salt with water to make batter. Leave in room temperature overnight. Heat pan or griddle. Spread the mix on pan in circular motion to make thin Dosa. Cook on both the sides. Serve hot with Chutney or Sambar.



 
 

Pathiri

Pathiri
Double Horse PATHIRI POWDER is specially prepared by using separate sieving process which make it "extra smooth and soft" for making pathiri simply delicious.

Ingredients:

1 glass of Double Horse Pathiri Podi, 1 glass of water, 1/4 tsp coconut oil and little salt.

How to Prepare:

Boil 1 glass of water with 1/4 tsp coconut oil and little salt. When it boils hard, sprinkle 1 glass of Double Horse Pathiri Podi. Stir this only after 1 minute. Switch off the flame and cover with a lid. After 1 minute put the warm mixture in a flat vessel and mix thoroughly until soft. Make small balls out of soft dough and press in pathiri press. Grill pathiri without oil.


 
 

White Puttu Podi

White Puttu Podi
Double Horse WHITE PUTTU PODI is excellent for making the traditional cereal break fast item "Puttu" in its best of colour, softness and taste, which makes it unique and acceptable.

Ingredients:


1½ cups Double Hourse White Puttu Podi, Enough water to moisten the flour (approximately ¾ cup), 1 cup freshly grated coconut

How to Prepare:

Take 1½ cup of Double Hourse White Puttu Podi. Sprinkle water on it and start mixing it so as to make the powder wet.
