conforming to IS 9968 Pt I & II

Conductor : Annealed tinned copper wires solid (Class 1), Stranded (Class2), Flexible (Class 5) complying with the requirement of IS 8130-1984

Separator Tape: Suitable material separator tape may be applied over the conductor.

Insulation : General Service elastometer compound Type IE 1, Heat Resisting elastometer compound Type IE 2,3 and 4 and Silicon Rubber sheath Type IE 5 of IS 6380-1984

Core Identification: Colored or numbered as per customer requirement

Fillers: Natural or synthetic fibres or elastometer  compatible with  insulating material.

Sheath: General service sheath Type SE1/SE2, Heat resisting Sheath Type SE3/SE4 and Silicone rubber sheath SE 5 of IS 6380-1984

Composite cable is conventionally manufactured in Rubber but can also be supplied in PVC as per customer requirement.

In keeping with the company's commitment to technology advancement, elastometer materials such as Polychloroprene (PCP). Chloro-Sulphoneted Polythelene (CSP), Nitirile Rubber/PVC blends, Ethylene Propelene Rubber (EPR). Elastomeric compounds for insulating and sheathing of cables are formulated to meet the requirement of IS 6380, BS 6899, IEC 60502 and other international specification.

We manufacture Aluminium and Copper Welding Cables covered under IS: 9857-1981. The cables are of following types:  

Cable with General Purpose rubber compound covering (GPR).

Cable with Heat Resistant, Oil and Flame retardant compound covering (HOFR)

Construction

Conductor:
Copper Conductor: The conductor shall be composed of plain or tinned annealed coppercomplying with IS:8130-1984. The conductor formation shall be according to class 6 of IS: 8130/1984.

Aluminium Conductor: The conductor shall be composed of Aluminium wires somplying with IS 8130/1984. The conductor formation shall be according to IS: 8130-1984.

Separator: The separator shall be dry paper, polyester tape or any other suitable material. The conductor shall be covered with a separator. The separator tape shall be applied as to give complete coverage to the conduction.

Covering : GPR/HOFR The general purpose rubber compound shall comply with requirements of type SE1 to IS: 6380-1984. The heat resisting oil resisting flame retardent (HOFR) compound shall comply with the requirement of Type SE 3 to IS:6380-1971.

Our range of silicon cables come with silicone rubber insulation and are conventionally fibre glass braided,ensuring excellent electrical properties & high thermal resistance. It helps the cables to withstand maximum temperature of 150/180°C for continuous & 250°C for short-circuit operations. It can also withstand minimum working temperatures of -55°C and helps in maintaining circuit continuity even in fire as silicone rubber burns into an insulating ash. Further our cables are also resistant to moisture, ozone radiation & chemicals.

Fire Survival Cable (Type FS) is used for the emergency circuit connected between emergency power source and the fire extinguishing system. It has special characteristic in addition to low smoke emission and low halogen property to maintain circuit integrity to essential service under severe fire conditions.
