We offer MONO Aluminum Phosphate, which is widely used in refractory industry. The bonding of refractory concretes, masses and mortars is a subject of very special importance in the ceramics field. In order to obtain an effective cold bond using MONO Aluminum Phosphate up to 10% of bond, clay should be included with the MONO Aluminum Phosphate. Specifications: | Name | MONO Aluminum Phosphate (Liquid) | | Formula | Al (H2PO4)3 | | Mol. Wt. | 318 | | Description | Clear & Viscous Liquid. Pourable at Room Temperature & Corrosive. | | Al2O3 | 8 – 10 % | | P2O5 | 35 – 38 % | | pH of 1% SOLUTION | Around 2 | | Density | 1.50 – 1.55 gm / cc | | Viscosity | 18 – 25 Second (Ford Cup B-4) | Binding process: Mono Aluminum Phosphate's application as a bonding agent for refractory products is based on its reaction with weak basic oxides (e.g. Al2O3) resulting initially in the formation of orthophosphates. Application of Mono Aluminum Phosphate: Mono Aluminum Phosphate has an Al2O3 content of 60-90%, for instance, corundum, mullite and sintered bauxite, which is used for bonding refractory materials. Furthermore, it produces a very good bond with fire clay, silicon carbide, and chromites within certain limitations, with quartz. Application in Electrical Industry: It finds huge demand in the electrical industry and gives the desired electrical insulation. |
