In its drive towards expansion, R.K.Latex has entered into a joint venture with MARDEC International SDN BHD, Malaysia ( Malaysian Rubber Development Corporation ). This resulted in the creation of MARDEC R.K. Latex Pvt Ltd with its factory in Malappuram, Kerala in March 2001 which is one of the largest in the country producing high quality centrifuge latex. MARDEC is the world leader in manufacturing, processing and marketing of natural rubber. Mardec R.K. Latex will shortly come out with specialized latex 3 L, 3 LCV, 5 L, 5 CV of International quality.

We have also joined hands with the renowned Rubber Man Dr. B C Shekhar for research & development to manufacture a number of new products. His services to the Rubber Industry have revolutionised production not only in Malaysia but all over the world. This venture involves the transfer of specialised knowledge to R K Latex the setting up of RKS Special Elastomers Pvt Ltd. This new unit will concentrate on converting natural rubber-both latex and raw rubber to premium quality rubber of various grades for domestic and overseas markets.

We have adopted the best and innovative technology available like the ALFA LEVAL 510 centrifugers for the production of centrifuged latex. We are the only company to have adopted such advanced techniques for quality production that go in harmony and blend with nature in an eco friendly plant.

The laboratory at R.K. Latex is the most modern having advanced equipments to analyse Brookfield viscosity and other parameters
concerned with the products.

Waste Treatment Plant
We live up to our pledge for a clean & green environment. The Effluent Treatment Plant is a key process which brings down the toxic content in the waste generated.

R.K.Latex, has a powerful Effluent Treatment Plant which covers an area of 321 m2 It has a capacity of treating around 1,00,000 Ltrs. of Rubber Effluent per day. The treated water from the final holding pond is used for drip irrigation purposes for crops like coconut , cocoa, plantain arecanut, etc…

The E T P functions efficiently without addition of any chemical or reductant. A well-equipped Laboratory monitors the functioning of E T P on a regular basis and necessary adjustments are made as and when required.
