Mark Air is one of the leading Clean Room Contracting company engaged in consultancy, design and manufacture of HEPA filtration systems and solutions right from a Laminair Airflow Workstation to a Cleanroom. Our range of HEPA filtration systems are listed below:

"ALL BUYERS SHOULD KNOW THAT THESE ARE SPECIAL SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT THAT HAVE TO BE TESTED AT FACTORY AND CALIBRATED ATLEAST ONCE IN A YEAR SUBSEQUENTLY. FOR CALIBRATION, SPECIAL IMPORTED INSTRUMENTS ARE REQUIRED. ONLY FEW MANUFACTURERS HAVE THESE EQUIPMENT IN INDIA. ENSURE THAT YOUR SUPPLIER OWNS THESE. ALSO CEHECK & VERIFY IF THE SUPPLIER HAS A GOOD TRACK RECORD OF SERVICE, AS THESE EQUIPMENTS WILL NEED SERVICE & ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT AFTER 2 YEARS. THE CONSUMABLE ITEMS SUCH AS THE UV LAMPS, PREFILTER & HEPA FILTER HAVE TO BE CHECKED PERIODICALLY & FREQUENTLY FOR USAGE. YOUR RESULTS WILL DIRECTLY DEPEND AND VARY BASED ON THE CONDITION OF THE HEPA FILTER."

Air Shower
Air Shower

Air Shower is a self-contained Clean Room entry enclosure that minimizes the entry of particulate contaminants carried by the personnel entering the Clean Room. The Shower cabinet is equipped with high static blowers that discharge air at high velocity in the order of 3000 feet per minute through nozzles located on the ceiling and walls. This air shower is better than Cleanliness Class 100. HEPA filtered ultraclean air strikes the person(s) from all directions and dislodges lint/dirt that hang loosely from the garment or exposed body parts.

A solid state electronic circuit renders the operation fully automatic & controls the sequential operation of the Electromagnetic door interlock arrangement, ensuring entry of personnel only after the air shower.

Softwall CleanroomsEnlarge View
Softwall Cleanrooms

Softwall Clean Rooms offer an economical way to provide a Cleanroom environment. Rooms are easy to assemble or disassemble, portable, expandable and versatile.
Environments are available from Class 10-100,000 (ISO 4-8). Change rooms can be added internally or externally. Rooms are expandable should your requirements change in the future.

All rooms are completely self-supporting requiring no ties to your facility. Adding castors allows them to be positioned after assembly. They also allow one room to serve several locations.

These are modular Clean Room systems constructed using an aluminium / steel frame (MS/Stainless Steel) with antistatic vinyl curtains surrounding the work area. Both indigenous and imported framing options are available.

These softwall Cleanrooms are Equipped with Fan Filter Units. FFU takes air i through pre-filters from the top of the Cleanroom and discharges it into the enclosure. In this system return air is not taken back to the FFU, from the enclosure the excess air bleeds through the space provided below the vinyl curtains. Thus Positive pressure is maintained within the Cleanroom, this prevents the entry of contaminants.

Biological Safety Cabinets

Mark's Biological Safety Cabinets, bioMARK, conform to the guidelines of the US National Sanitation Foundation's Standard 49 for Design, Construction and Testing requirements.

Class I cabinet offers protection only to the user, whereas the ClassII & III cabinets offer protection to the user, product and the environment.

Class II Biosafety Cabinets are further classified as Type A, B1, B2 & B3.

TypeA/B3 cabinets exhaust 30% of the air handled and recirculates 70% of the air. Type A exhausts air into the room iteself. Type B3 exhausts air into the atmosphere. ClassII, TypeA/B3 cabinets are suitable for work with low to moderate risk biological agents in the absence of volatile toxic chemicals and volatile radionuclides.

Type B1 cabinets exhaust 70% and recirculate 30% of the air. TypeB1 cabinets are suitable for work with agents treated with no more than a few micrograms of toxic chemicals and trace amounts of radionuclides required as an adjunct to microbiological studies.

Type B2 cabinets exhaust the entire air handled in the cabinet.Type B2 cabinets may be used with biological agents treated with toxic chemicals and radionuclides required as an adjunct to microbiological studies.

Class IIICabinet is defined as a totally enclosed ventilated unit of gas tight construction with glove ports for access. The workspace is maintained at -ve pressure of >0.5" water gauge. Class III Cabinets are suitable for work with agents that require biosafety level 1, 2, 3 or 4 containment.

    HEPA FILTER (Clean Room)MODULES

Clean Room Modules are HEPA filtration systems that cater to the "Small Clean Room" requirements of Clients who work on a limited budget and for applications where a full fledged Clean Room, involving major site alterations and costs is not possible or not necessary. To meet these requirements, MARK has developed HEPA filter Modules each of the modules has a specific purpose as detailed below.

The Positive Pressure Module feeds fresh air into the room after HEPA filtration; Recirculation Module or the Room Air Dilution Module recirculates room air through the HEPA filter in repeated cycles resulting in dilution of the concentration of contaminants in the room; the AC connectable Module filters the cooled air from the window air conditioner in a HEPA filter and supplies sterile air to the room.

A combination of the modules described above helps in achieving the desired cleanliness level in the room.

    Salient Features:

Class 100000 to Class 1000 achievable.

Ideal for rooms of area 250 SqFt or less

Suits budget, results match conventional systems

Flexible & economical systems; modules can be added or deleted without major alterations.

Minimum time loss, installation within 3 days.

Ideal for R&D work in Institutions/ Universities; Diagnostics/Culture Lab in Hospitals; Pilot plants and start-up units.

    Clean Room Accessories
    Clean Room Accessories

Garment Storage Cabinets are HEPA filter ventilated cabinet to store washed/autoclaved garments with hangers and an optional shoe stand at the bottom. This cabinet is located in the Change Room at the entry to the Clean Room. Continuous flow of HEPA filtered air with UV treatment keeps the garments sterile, until it is worn.
The cabinet is made of CRCA (MS) sheet with powder coated finish. Standard widths are 36”, 42” & 48”. Non-standard sizes are also available.
Pass Boxes or hatches are material transfer systems between rooms. These are installed on the common wall between two rooms and transfer of material takes place without exchange of air between the rooms. This is achieved with an interlocking arrangement that ensures that only one door in the Passbox can be opened at a time. These Pass boxes are effectively and widely used in Clean Rooms mainly in Hospitals and Pharmaceutical companies where cross contamination has to be avoided. Fluorescent/CFL lamp is provided. Material of Construction : SS304 or CRCA (MS) powder coated
Two types of Pass Boxes are available STATIC & DYNAMIC.
A Static Pass Box is a material transfer hatch with a two door arrangement, installed in a common wall between two rooms, one door opening into each of the rooms. An interlocking arrangement is installed in the Pass Box to ensure that only one door can be opened at a time. The interlocking arrangement could be mechanical or electromagnetic.
A Dynamic Pass Box incorporates a HEPA filtration system integrated in a Static Pass Box. The HEPA filter-blower switches On whenever a door is opened and switches Off whenever a door is closed. The entire system is controlled by a circuit with sensors and micro-switches. The interlocking arrangement is electromagnetic type. This type of Pass Box is installed between rooms that are not of same Cleanliness level, i.e, between Class 10000 room and a Class 100000 room and a Clean Room and an unclassified area.
