About Us

Thirty successful shows in just about three years!! This is marvel art gallery is all about! Marvel was established in the year 2004. It took off by showcasing 33 top Indian contemporary artists. The gallery then carried on its journey with a mission to transform the Indian contemporary art. In less than four years, the gallery has spread over 8000 sq. feet which includes a dedicated exhibition space of 3000 sq ft. Located right on the SG Road, a prime location in Ahmedabad, it provides a good footfall during exhibition days. Marvel provides platform to upcoming promising talents.


Marvel presently has over a thousand works of art of about 150 artists in its collection. Other than originals, the gallery has created an alternative market for limited edition serigraphs in this part of the world. More then 20 portfolios of some top artists including MF Husain, S H Raza, Jogen Chowdhary and Manjeet Bawa. Marvel has also produced two films. One was on the art of Ajay Choudhary. The other titled 'MG Road' by Pravin Mishra explored Gandhi's relevance in today's world.


The growing demand in sculptures have given rise to talents like Shanta Samant, Ratilal Kansodaria and Prithwiraj Mali. Marvel has a good collection of many of their recent works.
