Strip Heaters that we offer come in rugged construction for for Air/Process Heating/Refrigration. They are available in electro plated steel or stainless steel. Strip Heaters are an excellent choice for surface contact heating. A number of mounting screws are used at the ends an in the middle of the heater to prevent detachment due to thermal expansion. MATRUSREE’s unique turbo blower system creates a true one-pass circulation pattern that provides both exceptional temperature uniformity and rapid heat recovery. A slide-operated vent allows the user to adjust fresh air ventilation. This permits adjustment from continuous fresh air intake to closed recirculation.

Horizontal Forced Air (Convection) Oven
  • Offers a high level of performance and optimal circulation with the oven shelves fully loaded. Heated air is directed into the duct space on the right side of the oven and flows through horizontal slots and across the shelves. The air then exits the chamber through slots on the opposite chamber wall. "One pass" circulation means that the air is circulated through the blower and over the heating elements each time it passes through the oven chamber.Safety Designed into Ovens. Suction Heaters

Suction Heaters
Suction heaters are specifically designed to heat only that amount of material that is to be pumped from a large storage tank. The outlet nozzle is attached to the pump suction. The heater heats the material inside the heater pipe body which is then drawn through the heater into the suction side of the pump. This technique saves substantial energy costs since it is not necessary to heat the entire contents of the tank to draw off relatively small amounts of viscous materials. Complete weather-proof construction makes these heaters perfect for installation in large outdoor storage tanks. Large heater inlet provides smooth, full-flow through the heater.

Features
  • Terminal Enclosure:Circulation heaters are designed to be installed outdoors in exposed areas. Enclosures are designed to be Moisture Resistant or Moisture and Explosion Resistant. Low Watt Density Elements make the heaters safe to use on most viscous liquids. Carbonization is minimized.

Circulation Heaters
MATRUSREE ™ Suction Heater is a flow-through electrical heater, ideal for heating of oil or water.Its heat load capacities range from 3 to 200 kW, with design conditions up to 16 bar and 160°C. They are generally Mounted Horizontally, but is also available as Vertical Mounting with Different MOC. These heaters are designed specially as Suction Heaters but can also be designed for Out Flow Heaters as well as Immersion Heaters Application.
TECHNICAL DETAILS OF ELECTRIC HEATERS

Element design:
  • Element consists of open helical coils of high Resistance Nichrome (80/20) wire carried through ceramic bobbins.
  • All Corderite bobbins are tied in position with a SS-304 centre rod.
  • These elements are fitted inside solid drawn tube of size 40 NB schedule 40.
  • On installation over Flange, Elements are fixed using Z-clamp for ease of replacement. Renewable cartridges facilitate easy replacement of elements without emptying the tanks.

Watt Density
  • Watt density is the heating density experienced by oil over the outside area of encasing metallic pipe.
Offered range is 1.5 to 2.0 watts per square cm.
Power supply & control
Heaters upto 3Kw are designed to operate on 230V, single phase AC Supply. From 6 Kw onwards, these operate on 415V,3 phase AC Supply. All heaters are provided with a thermostat for precise temperature control. Heaters above 12Kw are provided with standby thermostat.

Thermocouple
The two main specialties of thermocouple are rugged construction and versatility, with many selections for various temperature ranges. Thermocouples are made up of two different material wires welded together. These produce a very small DC voltage, depending on temperature and thermocouple type. The controller checks this voltage, and compares it with standard values and, displays controlled temperature. It is inexpensive and comes in a wide variety.

Commercial Heating Elements
A heating element converts electricity into heat through the process of Joule heating. Electrical current running through the element encounters resistance, resulting in heating of the element. We use high quality Nichrome wire or ribbon as the conductor because Nichrome is an ideal material, as it is inexpensive, has relatively high resistance, and does not break down or oxidize in air in its useful temperature range.
