Established in the year 1998, we Maxicon Container Line have emerged as one of the largest Shipping Lines and Container Carrier from India to Bangladesh in the private sector. We rank in the top three "SOC" players in Chennai Port and are the sole operator of containers in Paradip. In our services, we offer Air Cargo Services, Freight Forwarding, Clearing & Forwarding, Warehousing & Distribution and Container Handling. In addition, we also deal in Liner Agency and Overseas Operations & Line Activities.

Our organization is a fully owned subsidiary of Seaways Shipping LTD, which is headquartered in Singapore and is named as "Maxicon Container Line LTD". We have several offices & operation centers in 24 ports and ICD's in India with 4 overseas offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Dubai. This well distributed and widespread network helps us to serve more than 60 locations across Asia including China and Iraq. We also serve Indian Subcontinent & Middle East Countries and transport cargo in its own containers from Indian subcontinent to Far eastern destinations.

Under the able guidance of our mentor, Mr. Capt. Sudhir Kumar, we have carved a niche for ourselves. He has an extensive industry experience and rich knowledge about the market, which helps us in providing exemplary services to our clients at highly affordable prices.

From a modest beginning in August 2003, in Chennai's busy business center, our organization reached to this unmatchable position in market. With three core people, 80 old & rickety containers and an elegant office, we started our organization and became one of the top three "SOC" players in Chennai Port and the sole operator of containers in Paradip.

Within the first five years of our inception (from 2003-08), we have produced an inventory of 11,000 containers, several chartered vessels and most importantly 200 Maxiconians all over the places.
