About Us

Maya Biotech was incorporated in 1983 with a with a small hydro distillation plant in Northern India. Based on the results of the market assessment undertaken then, it directed its efforts towards the production of a range of products like Menthol Crystals, Thiophosgene, and other drug intermediates and speciality chemicals. In 1991 the company moved its operations to a new large and modern building equipped with most modern laboratory in Lucknow. Maya Biotech has grown to be an internationally active company with operations and sales activities in several countries.

Since its inception, the company's strongest markets were Europe and USA. In order to become a global player, it was clearly necessary to have a knowledgeable local presence in these markets, to facilitate better communication with customers, understanding of their needs, better supply-chain efficiency and adding value to the whole process.

The Company has on its Board people with experience in various fields:
Headed by Mr. Ranveer Kapoor, Managing Director & Technical Director, having achieved his Masters and Bachlors Degree in Pharmaceutical Technologies from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in the year 1973 having a vast experience in the field of Business Management as well as handles technical inputs and designing of the plant.
