Mayaram and Pav Bhaji became one name. He introduced Pav Bhaji in Kolkata, when there was not single hawker was there. He introduced such flavor in the masala that nobody has copied his taste up to till now.

Mayaram was born Jajpur (Cuttack) district ,vill- sahoo para {Bari}of Odisha state. He studied up to Vernacular. But he was a wise man. He came to Kolkata, when he was under twenty, He took a job of cook in a Private House.

After two years he left the Job and started selling Jhall-Muri. But he was always thinking to do something new. He left for Bombay and started to work in a ¿Pav Bhaji¿ shop. After one year he mastered the art of making ¿Pav Bhaji¿ and Blended in the spice some new masala and it became a favorite of all the people.

He Started his own Pav Bahji Stall Opp. at Victoria Memorial Hall and it became so popular that thousands of people used to come relish his Pav Bhaji. He was a honest and delicated worker. He used in heavy Rainer and open summer sky at opp. Victoria Memorial Hall.

His work soon gave him reward and he took a 1000sq.ft of show room on 1/2 Lord Sinha Road . He became so popular that his Pav Bhaji has became a hall-mark in Kolkata. He used Pure Butter, fresh Vegetable and Special blended Spices that nobody has Copied it up to day. The Statesman Paper Specially Proposed his popularity ¿ The Great Leveler ¿ in his editation on 19.03.1994.

His Sons are running his shop with dedication and honesty.

Up till now no body her made any complain about its Quality and Pureness. The Lover of pav Bhaji are always coming to his shop because of its unique taste.
