Insulators must support heavy transmission lines and withstand the mechanical load as a part of power apparatus structures, thus necessitating high mechanical strength as well as high insulating properties. These requirements can be achieved only through combining basic research, design, and quality control, and by employing modern manufacturing techniques.

Grain size is controlled. Moisture in the Filters Press Cakes is controlled. Every meter length of the rolls, coming out from the De-airing Pug Mill is checked for "Vaccum". Tools are designed to give the desired dimensions. Controlled drying is done to have the minimum stresses in the Porcelain.
