Polyester strap and 15% for Nylon. In case of steel strap if pack configuration changes, it creates potential hazards when handling large or heavy materials, while in case of PET strap it maintains strap tension by contracting with pack in case of pack settlement.

Weather Resistance

This strap is impervious to water, does not rust or rot and is unaffected by severe weather conditions like high temperature, humidity etc., it is also resistant to Ultra-Violet (UV) rays.

Notchsensitivity Tear Resistant

A small nick or cut in the edge of the polyester strap under tension is less likely to spread across the strap's face, unlike other common types of strap.

Easy To Use And Convenient For Storage

Polyester takes less time and effort to use. Coils of polyester weigh only half as much as steel and hold at least twice as much strap. Easier handling, fewer coil changes and less down time.
PET Strap is lighter than steel strap in weight for a given length. Therefore it consumes less space and one person can handle it very easily.

PET Strap does not snap back or recoil when cut. Unlike steel strap, there are no sharp edges to handle so worker's safety is ensured.

• "PET STRAP" has higher elongation recovery. Where as steel strap has virtually no elongation recovery.
• Steel strap generally cut the edges of package. Whereas "PET STRAP" does not cut the edges of package. Hence, the packed product is totally protected.
• "PET STRAP" is rust free and chemically inactive.  It does not leave any mark on surface caused by stapling.
• Special cutting tool is require for cutting steel strap. "PET STRAP" does not require any special cutting tools.
• While cutting the tensioned steel strap there is always a chance of accidents due to "Whip lashing" "PET STRAP" does not pose any such hazards.
• "PET STRAP" is 80% lighter than steel strap. Hence, there is saving in freight cost.
• "PET STRAP" is easy to handle.

"Pet Strap" should be applied around the loads at the highest possible tension to take advantage of the strap strength. A good joint is essential to hold the strap ends together.

Seal: Strap ends can be sealed using either friction welding or ultrasonic welding. Strap ends may also be sealed using metal seals.
