| | Heaters are recommended for use where Heating and strong directional circulating action in tank are required. These Heaters are used for heating and agitating solutions/liquid. For low-noise heating of all kinds of liquids in vessels.
The steam jet emerging from the driving nozzle accelerates the liquid present in the vicinity and in the mixing nozzle. In this way a controlled flow, without condensation shocks and rattling is produced. Furthermore, the whole contents of the vessels are set in motion and the heat transferred to the liquid is evenly distributed throughout the vessel. All the heaters are provided with an extra inlet for connection for an air pipe. On delivery this inlet is sealed with a screw plug. Normally it is not necessary to operate with air. However, the admission of air greatly intensifies the movement of the circulating liquid; it an also assist in avoiding rattling that may occur when starting with a cold liquid. The screw plug must be removed if air is to be introduced and a pipe with an adjustment valve must be connected (see fig.). Through this pipe atmospheric air can be drawn in the heaters are of robust construction and operate without heat loss.
Construction: Tank heater normally manufacturing from Carbon Steel or stainless steel. it is consisting of diffuser, suction chamber and nozzle. All sizes can be made in other material also if corrosive conditions so require.
Operation: The nozzles are operated by flow of steam. As shown in fig. the jet of steam entrains tank liquid through the suction opening condensation take place immediately upon mixing of the liquid and steam and the steam heated liquid is discharged through the diffuser in to the tank at considerable velocity.
