WET PROCESSING SYSTEMS

We make available Mc KINNON Aagaard Wet Processing System to our clients for production of uniform quality of first parchment and for total pulping of the intake fruits. It consists of Rotary Cherry Feeder used to feed cherry to the various disc surfaces for pulping, this feeding system is independent of water and thus less water is required for pulping.

Mc KINNON Aagaard Wet Processing System is fitted with Primary Disc Pulper, its flexible chop rail allows for wider range of fruit sizes to be pulped with reduced nip damage. Its flexibility is ensured by sixteen nylon fingers, backed by a flat piece of rubber with a tension adjusting screw. The feed can be varied from 800 kg. to 4000 kg per hour with the help of a regulating door.

With the help of Mc KINNON Aagaard Pregrader that contains a wet sieving surface, it is ensured that wet parchment is separated into firsts , seconds and lights. The firsts go for paddle elevation to fermentation tanks in a separate chamber while the seconds and lights are sent to the Repasser Pulper. A well pulped & uniform size parchment, completely free from skins is produced by the Pregrader. After this pulping of seconds parchment and light fruit is done by a Repasser Disc Pulper.

McKINNON Colmena Pump can be used with water to raise coffee to a certain height and also to transport it horizontally. It is a multipurpose non-clog type pump with open faced bronze impeller used to combat damage during pumping. Its specially designed blade makes sure that the beans in gelatinous condition have smooth entry and exit from the pump. McKINNON Colmena Pump is used with 50% solids and 50% water condition and has variegated applications as follows:

• Our pump can be used to transport fruit from collection & weighment yards to fruit tanks prior to pulping

• It can be for transport of pulped skins to filter tanks for water recovery and pulp disposal

• McKINNON Colmena Pump is used for Transport of wet parchment from fermentation and soaking tanks to drying yards

• It can also be used for pumping and recirculation of water

• Our pump is also helpful in transportation of wet parchment from one fermentation tank to another and thus, provides a mild washing action
