Our specialization and focus are on products involving usage of Spot Welding, Projection Welding, Seam Welding and Special Purpose Welders popularly used in the Sheet Metal user Industries of which the Automotive sector is the main thrust area.
We undertake the complete designing, manufacturing and sales of Resistance Welding products and allied equipment in a state of the art facility at Bangalore, India. This facility matches all relevant machine building standards practiced in advanced countries around the world.

2005 – 2006 | Exported a batch of tooled up spot cum projection welders to a Toyota partner in Asia Pacific.
2005 | Supplied a batch of portable suspension welding units to M&M for the SCDC project.

Mechelonic employs an organised work force as a multi- disciplinary team. Led by the founder directors, the team is ever ready to accommodate, to accept, to adjust, and to respond to the constantly changing business environment, customer needs, and the technology.
Joseph J. Nedumkunnel, Founder Director
Born in 1937, Mr. Joseph received his B.Sc. degree from Madras university in 1958. Subsequently, he completed further studies in Electronics at St. Xaviers Technical Institute, Bombay and at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Thereafter, he worked as Electronic Control Designer at Malik Electricals from 1966. Close friendship and a shared professional vision with Mr. A. P. Agiwal resulted in establishing Mechelonic Welders Pvt. Ltd. in 1971. Continuous updating of electronic controllers to ensure competitiveness against international players remains one of his key efforts. During the 35 years involvement into the profession, he successfully advanced many solutions for complex welding needs including nuclear fuel rods and aircraft parts.
Today, his sons Mr. Subin (B.E. Electronics), Mr. Jacob (B.E. Mechanical) and Mr. Mathew (B.E. Electrical) have joined the company to form a well knit team of business leaders of Mechelonic Welders Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Joseph J. N. is a member of the American Welding Society.
