Guar Gum Powder Guar gum is obtained from Guar beans, which have a large endosperm of Cyamoposis Tetragonolobus, a plant of the Leguminous family that contain Galactomannan gum ie a substance which form gel in water. Guar gum is a Polysaccharides with a straight chain of D-Mannopyranose units joint by B(1-4) linkages with the side branches units of a single D-galactopyronase joint to every other mannose unit by L(1-6) linkages. Guar gum powder is Whitish & Yellowish white powder with a slight odor. It is used as a Thickener in many different industries. Applications:

Applications:
- Textiles: In textile it is used in Reactive dye printing.
- Reactive Dye Printing: It works as a reactive printing agent, and has a special property. I.E During the chemical reaction of fiber (cloth) with reactive dyes, the dyes got fixed in fiber and printing agent do not attend this reaction, making the fiber hard, fragile and bad in color display. Tamarind Gum Derivatives This is modified form of tamarind kernel powder, which is obtained from high quality export tamarind seeds, it involves many process before getting high quality fine 300 mesh size powder. Gum powder is made depending upon requirement of low and high viscosity.
Process: It involves cracking & cleaning of seeds and then processed into big chemical reactor at certain temperature. It involves addition of certain chemicals which break down the chain process of seed then the seeds are passed from high quality grinding machine, where a powder is made passing 300 mesh.

Tamarind Seeds Tamarind seed is very hard and strong and is covered with black brown husk. It is obtained after roasting of Black/ brown seed and removing its outer layer. It is white in color and its size varies in between 12mm to 16 mm. It is fruit of a large tropical tree grown in forests.
Tamarind seed husk constitutes to 35 % of total seed weight and other 65% is white kernel used in manufacturing Tamarind kernel powder.
Tamarind seed ( Tamarind indica) is found mostly in south India and South East Asia. Tree flowers in springs ( Sept to Nov). They ripen from Feb to April. The seed have pulp and outer shell. Seeds are flat and irregular rectangular in shapes. The when cleaned gives 25% Testa and 75% Kernel. The black seed are roasted and decorticated and white kernel are handpicked or separated by color sorter.
