- It shows positive result against RBC sensitized with human immunoglobulin and complements.

- 100% specificity to Rho (D) antigen.
(iv) 22% BSA (Ready to use)
- Mediclone 22% BSA solution is obtained from the fraction V of Cohn’s separation of Bovine Serum.
- Incomplete antibodies (IgG) do not agglutinate red blood cells in saline medium but will cause firm agglutination when mixed or suspended in 22% BSA.
- No other protein has been found to be a effective as BSA while giving negative reactions free from pseudo-agglutination.
