Micryl - Polyglycolic Acid

MICRYL is the most widely used coated & braided synthetic absorbable suture and is offered with a coating of a non toxic and biocompatible material called polycaprolactone. MICRYL Sutures are stronger than chromic catgut at implantation as the material is absorbed by Hydrolysis. It excellent handling characteristics and its violet color is highly visible in the wound, it is stronger, less traumatic alternative.

Msigut - Catgut Chromic & Plain

MSI offers both plain catgut and chromic catgut sutures. Plain catgut ensures a dependable and predictable absorption and an extremely high tensile strength. Every strand is polished to a uniform diameter ensuring smooth and secure knotting. Chromic catgut has the same high qualities as plain catgut. The through uniform chromizing ensures an extended, dependable absorption time.

Size Available: 2(6) to 5-0(1.5) in 76cm, 152cm with out needle. Size 1(5) to 5-0 with needle.

Also available as Cassette in 50meter/ 100meter.

MSI Silk Sutures

Fine quality, pure natural silk is degummed to remove extraneous materials braided in a modern braiding technique to provide a uniform smooth surface and a greater tensile strength. It is dyed in black & has excellent handling and tying characteristics.

Nylon monofilament is a polyamide 6/6 suture extruded specially to provide a strong uniform suture. It has a high tesile strength that is uniform and smooth surface which permits easy passage through tissue with minimum trauma. It has a smooth non porous surface and knots easily.

The original Jamshidi Bone Marrow Biopsy/ Aspiration Needles
