The Types of Flame Arrestors are :-

 

(a)        An end of line Un Confined  Deflagration or Atmospheric Explosion

(b)        An end of line Long burning proof flame arrestor

(c)        An in line Confined Deflagration flame arrestor.

 

The essential part of Flame Arresters manufactured by us are the Flame Arrester Bank which is built up from two circularly wound stainless steel strips, one of which is flat, the other corrugated at an angle of 90Deg.

 

FLAME ARRESTER BANK(CRIMPED RIBBON TYPE)

 

Elements consists of alternate layers of crimped and uncrimped metal spirally wound on to a central core. Alternative construction uses alternate layers of crimped and uncrimped metal built into a circular frame. In either case this results in a structure with many approximately triangular shaped apertures.

 

This type of Arrester can be made to very close tolerance and dimensions can be varied over a wide range. The Pressure drop across the arrester is low and they can be constructed to withstand to most severe explosions.

Pressure & vacuum relief valves:

breather valves designed as per api 2000 and manufactured by us are highly efficient to prevent evaporation losses from storage tanks, but to allow breathing easily when the pressure or vacuum
exceeds the specified level.  the pressure & vacuum functions are combined in one fitting. The system is open to atmosphere venting.
