About UsEstablished in August 2008, Megha Fibre Glass Industries Ltd. has grown to become a recognized fabricator of FRP (Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic) continuous advancing mandrel processed Glassfibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP) pipes, which represents the state of the art in GRP pipe production technology. MFGIL-GRP is the first plant in south India to manufacture GRP pipes on CFW Machine. This process allows the use of continuous glass fibre reinforcements in the circumferential direction. We offer products ranging from custom hand lay-up fiberglass, moulded fibreglass gratings, pultrusion profiles, filament winding pipes to continuously-made translucent roof/wall panels for metal building and wide flat FRP sheets for sandwich panel. All products are manufactured in strict accordance to the ISO 9001:2000 standards certified & ISO 12709 standards certified.
It's purpose is to provide a forum through which the fibreglass reinforced thermoset plastic ("FRP" or "RTP") industry can work together effectively toward the common goal of advancing the use of all fibreglass products in the tank and piping marketplace, i.e. coordinate market studies and statistics, combine talents and resources to provide standard-setting organizations with superior technical data and disseminate information to the government, industry and the public.
Underwriters Laboratories Listing is a requirement for member-manufactured underground fibreglass tanks and fibreglass piping used for flammable and combustible liquids. |
Quality Policy / ProcessesGlass reinforced plastic pipe systems are certified according to many national and international standards. Standards developed by Bureau of Indian Standards, ASTM, AWWA, ISO and EN are applied to a variety of fiberglass pipe applications, including conveyance of sanitary sewage, water and industrial waste. A thread common to all of the product standards is that they are all performance based documents. This means that the required performance and testing of the pipe is specified.
Quality has always been our main constraint in each & every piece of our product which goes out of our factory & this kind of Quality Standards can only be maintained with highly efficient & skilled persons having high commitment level & personal attention in the company.

To maintain the quality working the basic requirement is to educate the supervisors and actually working persons on shop floor to achieve the desired process oriented results.
We have established standards & system, which are being followed, starting from acceptance of raw material stage, work-in-progress stage, intermitted quality checks and finished product inspection and testing.
