The workshop is approved by various IIIrd party inspection agencies such as EIL, IBR, TUV, DNV, BVIQ, SGS, LRIS, RITES, BAX COUNCIL, UHDE, PDIL, LLOYDS, CCOE, FCRI & TDC for indigenous materials and various other agencies. These are high lift, full nozzle Safety Relief Valves for steam, gas or liquid service, available in various orifice sizes from 0.71cm2 to 168cm2 i.e. D orifice to T orifice upto 1500#. Face to face dimensions are in accordance to API526. These valves can be supplied with or without bellows depending upon process and end user requirement. Valves can be manufactured in different body materials such as Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Cr MO Steel or Low temperature Steel. Variations in form of different types of bellows, lifting lever, open or closed bonnet, stellited nozzle or disc & Gag, are available.

To cope-up with the increasing demand for REFURBISHMENT OF VALVES, Mekaster Engineering Ltd. has setup a separate division for reconditioning of valves in 1994 under the same roof with manpower, materials, machines, equipments, tools and tackles etc., required for the purpose.
The reconditioning division also offers a prompt, reliable service for the supply of replacement parts, all work is carried out in accordance with INDIAN as well as INTERNATIONAL QUALITY STANDARDS. The keynote of the reconditioning division is close consultation with the client's, Engineer's, Inspector's and Third party Inspection Agency at all stages to ensure optimum Quality at an economical prices.
The type of services offered, based on job quantum and nature of work involved are :
1. Annual rate contracts for all type of valves reconditioning.
2. IN-SITU Valves repairing & testing during annual turn around (ATA).
3. Shut-down and Emergency Valves Maintenance.
4. Installation and Commissioning of Valves.
5. Manufacturing and Commissioning of Valves.
We have the capability to recondition the below mentioned type and range of valves :
a) Safety/Pressure relief including reconditioning, calibration, resetting and commissioning.
b) Gate, Globe, Non-return, Butterfly, Ball, Plug Valve sizing ranging from 1/2" Dia. to 48" Dia. and rating upto 2500#.
These are screwed or flanged safety relief valves for gas & liquid applications and are provided with adjustable blow down ring. Body material is A195/WCB as standard & for corrossive service body material used is A182F 316 / CF8M. Series 14/15 valves are manufactured in 0.80 cm2 orifice size & are used in applications where required flow rates are moderate, set pressure is upto 1480 PSIG and class rating is uptp 600 Lbs. S14/15 vlaves can be supplied with screwed or flanges connections.
