The transformers are also supplied with first filling of transformer oil which has been filtered and tested in accordance with ISS-335.

Further, every process is closely monitored and inspected by our team of quality inspectors, who have an eye for detail. Our range is subjected to various tests that assure zero-defect and highly functional transformers. Some of the tests conducted are as follows:


• Induced over potential withstand test for 60 secs.
• Separate source high voltage withstand test for 60 secs. Both for primary and secondary.
• Measurement of the no load current and no load losses at rated voltage and frequency.
• Measurement of impedance voltage and load losses.
• Turns ratio on all tap positions on all 3 phases.
• Measurement of insulation strength by megger.
• Measurement of resistance.
• Dielectric strength of oil. 60 KV/ RMS

Lamination

• The lamination are built from M-3H, M4 & M5 grade CRGO sheets duly annealed.
• It is designed to sustain over fluxing up to 12.5% due to variations in voltage & frequency.

Winding

• The windings are made from electrolytic copper or aluminium conductor with paper covering or super enameling.
• Generally strip winding is provided for low voltage & round wire are used for high voltage windings.
• Adequate oil ducts are provided in the windings to limit the temperature rise of windings to the specified limits.
• Ensures minimized rate of insulation deterioration

Tappings

• Generally +5% -5% tappings are provided on HV windings. It can also be provided as per customers requirement.



Temperature Rise

• 45/55% of oil/windings (or as per customers specification)

Vector Group

• Dyn-11 (or as per customers specification)
