Day 1:

Reach Coorg  visit Tibetan Monastery: The Nyingmapa Tibetan Monastery and Golden Temple are located near Kushalnagar, around one hour from Coorg’s main town of Madikeri.

The Golden Temple is an unexpected attraction of Coorg, but one that’s definitely worth seeing. The monastery is home to hundreds of monks, with the Tibetan settlement apparently being the second largest in India. The area is full of culture. There’s a small shopping centre selling colorful Tibetan products as well.

Check in to hotel after relax evening visit Raja seat.

Raja Seat: Raja's Seat is a small pavilion with a garden surrounding it; offering a view of the green valley below. According to legend, the kings of Coorg spent their evenings here. The spectacular sunset and the far stretching Blue Mountains will take ones breath away.

Back to hotel, gala dinner followed by DJ and variety of cultural programs .Over night stay at Coorg

Day 2:  After breakfast proceed to Abbey falls and Thalakaveri,

Abbey falls: the Abbey falls produces a spectacular sight of cascading water. Nestled amidst private coffee plantations, the Abbey Falls provide a striking contrast to the sylvan surroundings of Coorg. A narrow road winding through the green and dense foliage of surrounding coffee plantations leads to Abbey Falls.

The gushing waters of the Abbey falls, tumbling down a rocky ravine, results in a deafening sound that can be heard from a distance. During the monsoon season, the Abbey swells with abundant seasonal rains with water plunging down the mountain slope at enormous speed. The scenic locales around the Abbe falls make for an ideal picnic destination.

Then visit Thalakaveri.

Thalakaveri: This is the origin of river Kaveri on the eastern slopes of Brahmagiri peak . An enclosure around the spring called Gundige is connected to a small pond beside. The water from the pond goes underground and comes out after about one kilometer down the hill. There are three shrines above the spring and birds eye view of west-coast from the hill range.

After visit

Bhagamandala: Bhagamandala is situated at the confluence of two rivers, the Kaveri and the Kanika. A third river, the Sujyothi is said to join from underground. It is considered sacred as a river confluence (kudala or sangama, in Kannada and Sanskrit). The temple here, built in Kerala style, has smaller shrines dedicated to various gods.

It is a common practice for pilgrims to take a dip in the sangama and perform rituals to their ancestors before proceeding to Talakaveri, the birthplace of Kaveri. During Tula Sankramana which falls on October 17 or 18.
