Services - Tape Slitting Meridian Tapes offers "slit to width" capabilities for customer seeking custom width rolls of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes. We can convert your adhesive tapes that meet your requirements.
- Razor Cut Slitting is process that uses single blades. Material is pulled through the stationary blades, making precise cut.
- Crush Cut or score Slitting is process whereby circular knives are pressed against a steel cylinders or mandrel with material being pulled through, between the knives the mandrel. Score cutting is more appropriate for materials of uneven thickness while Razor slitting is best suited for films & thinner material with consistant thickness.
- Laminating Services We have experience laminating foils with high temperature adhesive & polyster fabrics as well as laminating foams, both open and closed cell, with double sided polyster and transfer adhesive and a lot of other substrates.

Rewind/Slitting: We have experience laminating foils with high temperature adhesive & polyster fabrics as well as laminating foams,both open and closed cell, with double sided polyster and transfer adhesive and a lot of other substrates. Meridian operates several rewind/slitting machines. These machines have attributes that make each of them suitable for rewind/slitting certain materials. We are capable of slitting jumbo logs of cloth Tapes to 2" by 60-yard rolls;and at the same time, we are able to create logs of standard lenght adhesive products from jumbo logs.These standard lenght logs are custom slit at a later date to meet the specific needs of the customer. Also,we have the ability to rewind/slit numerous rols of narrow width material with adhesive on a liner paper from wide web jumbo rolls of the same. Tension control features of the machines cause the individual rolls to have uniforms cuts, despite the wide width of the jumbo rolls being cut. So, the rewind/slitting process essentially creates numerous smaller rolls from one larger roll of material.
