Sodium Alginate

Sodium alignate is a chemical compound with the empircal formula NaC6H7O6. It is extracted from the cell walls of brown algae and forms gum. Used as an emulsifier and thickener it is applicable in areas like food industry, used by dentists and textile industry as reactive dye printing to provide smooth texture and bright color with clear product outline.
