Founded in 1959, Malabar Foodstuff Trading Co. has been in the forefront of spice and spice product export, based from Cochin, the spice capital of India. Under the brand name Malabar, the company has forayed into many continents over the years, widening the product range and winning trust and patronage from customers around the world.

We at Malabar Food Stuff Company aim to bring out the pure and homely taste of Spices, Pickles and other food products to our customers while ensuring that the grower and producer of these spices and products get a fair price. This was the vision of Sri G L Chaturvedi, the founder of our business. To realise his vision, we have worked on both the ends of our trade. We have purchase centres located in the growing area of spices to buy our products directly from growers. This gives us an advantage of being able to get the quality which we aspire for and also to be in touch with the grower so that we can understand and enrich each other in the process.
