MICON offers as a new-type computer communication interface, USB interface has been widely applied by the industry. USB(universal serial bus) is a kind of connecting standard which allows connections between peripherals and computer without reconfiguring system or opening computer case to install adapter card since the computer can identify these devices and install corresponding drivers automatically without user intervention. USB has realized plug and play and hot plug, enabling users to connect peripherals with their computers conveniently and rapidly. USB has provided all USB peripherals with a kind of “universal” connectors (type A and type B) for connecting PC which will replace all tradition external ports including serial ports, game interfaces and paralleled ports. With USB, up to 127 peripherals can be connected to an external USB port serially while the present serial port or paralleled port can only connect one peripheral each.

ATC series of external connecting USB converters have integrated RS-232/422/485 and printer ports so that users can easily connect serial port devices via USB interface. Our products have adopted high quality chips from Profilic, FTDI, Moschip, etc, hardware design of industrial class, drivers that have passed Microsoft WHQL quality certification and they still have excellent compatibility and stability. They have 600W protection between the USB port and RS-232/485/422.
