We offer a wide range of Electro Dynamic Vibration Test System from +/-10 Kgf to +/-5000 Kgf force for every imaginable application in vibration simulation. The MEV series of Vibration Test System overcomes the limitations of inability to simulate the entire frequency range of the vibration environment.

The series of MEV vibration systems are the result of long experience in the designing and manufacturing of test systems. The principle that make MEV test system flexible and versatile is the use of close loop control. It provides the exciter with a control signal, which is changing in frequency between certain limits aat a pre-determined sweep rate. The signal is automatically adjusted to maintain a constant vibration level at the frequencies. This is achieved by using a control accelerometer mounted on exciter table in servo loop to provide a feed back signal to the controller. The difference between the command and input signal is used to continuous correction signal to the vibration. The flexibility and precision control provided by the close loop technique allow the user to determine/simulate the vibration environment quite accurately.

Digital Vibration Controller

PV Based Digital Vibration Controller, that uses dedicated ADSP processor alongwith VIBROSCAN series of software for SINE, RANDOM & SHOCK Control, is the brain of the Vibration Test System. The Micron Vibration Controller MVC-3000 derived from the industry standard as per JS55555, MIL, IS9000 and other international standards to meet the challenge of higher test performance with four channel input (Option).

The vibration controller unit is fully computerized and all test parameters are programmable through software. Test program files are being stored on magnetic media for future use. The measured test data's are displayed on a visual display unit (VDU) in tabular and graphical form during the vibration test. Test results are transferred to the printer for hard copy generation. The system operates on single phase mains supply of 220 VAC, 50 Hz.

For the fast response to compute signals and to have a perfact dynamic control, the controller uses a dedicated digital signal processor (ADSP-2105) as a slave processor.

The “MICRON” make “High Speed Centrifuge Machine” is most suitable for high speed acceleration testing of various components specifically semi conductor/electronic miniature components, IC’s etc. The machine is designed to test such components in X, Y & Z direction by suitable placement of the fixture as per MIL standard.




Bump Testing Machine

Micron make Bump Testing Machine is a versatile test equipment to carry out Shock/Bump tests in accordance with section of JS55555 anad other relevant Defence standards. The machine is used for production qualification testing, transient analaysis of structures or models and fatigue tests on sub-systems and parts with an object to determine their suitability under repetitive Shock/Bump environment (during transportation or in-service etc.) and to assess their structural integrity.
The machine is fabricated with welded steel of sufficient rigidity to provide necessary mechanical strength. The table (platform) is lightweight, made of special alloy and having threaded holes at regular pitch to mount test objects. A provision is made to adjust the drop height by special electro-mechanical/pneumatic arrangement between table and elastomeric pad. In order to achieve desired pulse duration, elastomeric pads of suitable Bump rate. A digital counter is provided to count the nos. of Bumps and run the machine for specified time (Bump counts) in manual and controlled mode of operation. The nos. of Bumps can be set on the settable counter.
The Bump Test Stand is supported with Pentium PC Based Intelligent Instrumentation front-end to monitor and analyze acquired acceleration waveform. A piezoelectric accelerometer is used as a sensor for this purpose. The accelerometer has built in electronics, which converts the mechanical Bumps to the electrical pulses. These pulses are filtered in signal conditioner to eliminate unwanted harmonics. The processed signal is digitized, scaled and displayed on 19"/21" TFT colour monitor. The acceleratin level and time duration are automatically calculated and displayed. Facility of controlled zero interception (programmable cursor approach) is provided to calculate more accurate time duration. The measured data can be sent to a standard Centronics compatible printer. The unit operaates on 415 +/-10%, 50 Hz A.C.

System Configuration

Micron MICROLOG-6100 Series of "Data Acquisition System"  is available in main frame of 8/10/16/32 channels having expandability upto 256/1000 channels through modules of 8/10/16/32 channels. System can be designed for a variety of combination of main frame and extender modules depending upon user applications.
In "Stand Alone Mode" system is programmable through front panel key boards and "On Line Data" can be stored, printed or transferred to any computer through RS-232C interface.

The unit also incorporates necessary scaling engineering unit conversino and different data manipulation to provide an exact replica of input parameters by printing the data in engineering units. The system uses very precise digital voltmeter incorporating latest 12 Bit/16 Bit/4-1/2 digit A/D converter for data digitization.

For real time analysis the unit incorporates highly stabilized digital control calender clock for print-out of time in Hrs., Mints., Secs., Month, Date, yeaar etc. Unit also incorporates security electronic lock to prevent unauthorized and accidental mishandling.




Displacement Transducers

The DXL & DXN Series Displacement Transducers, combine rugged construction and high performance required for industrial and engineering application. These are based on the principle of Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT). The LVDT coils are wound on nylon, fiber former, housed within a stainless steel case. Its epoxy bonding and vaccum impregnated construction makes the device suitable for operating in wet or oily environments and in application where high levels of mechanical stress (Vibration, Shock etc.) are encountered. The armature assembly is allowed friction free movement within the sensor.

Strain Gauge Based Displacement Transducers

Series DXS is based on the principle of gauge bonded to a specially designed element which senses the displacement. It is useful in measurement of Crack Displacement, Bore Hole Extensometer. It is also most suitable for dynamic measurement. This is available from 1mm to 200 and beyond, on special application.

Pressure Transducer

The PSW & PSH series Pressure Transducers employ full strain gauges bonded to the pressure sensitive diaphragm. The transducer is a one body piece machined from special steel heat treated for maximum stability. The design uses a full bridge strain gauge configuraation giving a nominal output of 1-2mV/V at rated pressure.

Mechnical Oscillator


Mechanical Oscillator Series MX-00A is highly rugged and compact unit designed as per IS:5249 to generate high level dynamic forces for varying amplitude. The unit is capable of running at very high speed, yet maintaining its own balance perfectly. The unit is suitable for determination of dynamic properties of soil and structures.

Thyristorised Speed Control Unit
Thyristorised Speed Control Unit has specifically been designed to run variable speed motors from min. to max. rpm value. It is also used as a starter for these motors for giving protection to the motor and objects connected. A protection is provided to the field and armature by an interlock relay as a safety provision to the rectifiers in the speed control unit also. The motor operatin is protected  with the help of 'Line Failure Protection Relay' and 'Over Load Protection Relay' provided in case of power failure and continuous overload, respectively. Apart from all aforesaid protections and facilities, adequate electrical insulation and moisute protection are also provided.

PC Based Soil Data Logger
PC Based Soil Data Logger is designed with latest art of technique. Soildata 5100-S is specially designed to determine the various coefficients of the soil. An efficient design and most economic construction of foundation of various types involve the accurate determination of dynamic properties of soil "in situ". Instrument employ latest state of art technology to acquire data from the acceleration sensor during a block vibration test as described in IS:5249 (Method of Test for Determination of In-situ Dynamic Properties of Soils). Soil Data 5100-S is only required to conduct the vertical and horizontal block vibration tests as IS:5249.

Digital Phase Meter
Digital Phase Meter is a light weight main power versatile instrument which can be used to find the phase difference between two signals. It is truely portable, high resolution and accurate indicating system which displays the phase difference between the two incoming signals. The phase difference measured will be in degrees. The front panel consists of a 3 digit LCD display to give a phase difference ranging from 0 - 360 degrees.

Digital Refraction Seismic Timer
Digital Refraction Seismic Timer is truely portable timing out to be used with Geophones for measurement of transit time of shock waves between two points on earth surface. There are two transducers used alongwith the timer. One transducer senses the start of the wave and which in turn starts the timer and the other transducer which senses the arrival of the wave stops the timer.

Frequency Regulator
A highly advanced IGBT Based Frequency Regulators are available for control of the speed of the MA Set being used in WCG2 and other loco's being operarted by Central & Western Railways. These have been designed and are being supplied as a substitute of GEC-UK FR's.

Voltage Regulator
Votage Regulators have been designed to regulate the output voltage of a motor generator set used in DC EMU of Indian Railways operating on 1500 V DC. The regulator controls the field excitation of both the motor and the generator and maintain the generator output. The regulator is designed, based on proven switching technique to achieve a high degree of efficiency, greater than 90%. Third generation semiconductors & integrated circuits suitable to use in locatino even where the ambient temperature variation is high. The circuit incorporates advance Isolated Voltage Sensors, Comparators, PI Amplifiers, Switching Circuits that vary the ON-OFF ratio of the switching circuit controlling the field currents and control power supply. 

Electronic Emergency Light Relay
Electronic Emergency Light Relay is designed with latest technique as per RDSO Specification No. ELPS/SPEC/EMU/01. Radiation hardened components of industrial and MIL grade has been incorporatd to achieve maximum MTBF. Utmost care has been taken in designing the Electronic Emergency Light Relay incorporating redundancy. A built-in watchdog takes care of the health of the control circuit and warns audio visually if there is any abnormal operation. A flag output is also provied extra for latest microprocessor control of EMU's and can be interfaced if required. A built-in switching power supply is provided having wide ranage of 70 V to 140 V for working of the internal circuit. This saves the power and also provides stable performance over wide temperature range of operation. All components have been selected to work in rolling stock environment.
