| | Silver Potassium Cyanide A colorless crystalline compound, silver potassium cyanide is highly soluble in water and has similar appearance to sugar. It is known among the few substances that forms soluble compounds with gold. So, silver potassium cyanide is used in jewelry for chemical gilding & buffing. This substance can also be used in gold mining for the extraction of metal from ores, where sodium cyanide is more predominantly used.

| | Silver Oxide Popular for its thermal stability, silver oxide is an insoluble silver source which is ideal for following applications: We offer silver oxide in most volumes. It has high purity levelsubmicron and nanopowder forms. It is also available in tablets, powder, pellets, pieces and sputtering targets form. A foremost feature of various oxide compounds is their non-conductivity to electricity. Particularly perovskite structured oxides are electronically conductive and find application in the cathode of: - Solid oxide fuel cells
- Oxygen generation systems
These are compounds which contain minimum 1 oxygen anion & 1 metallic cation. Usually insoluble in aqueous solutions (water), these are extremely stable which makes them suitable for use in: - Ceramic structures
- Producing clay bowls
- Advanced electronics
- Light weight structural components
- Aerospace and electrochemical applications such as fuel cells in which they exhibit ionic conductivity
All the metal oxide compounds are basic anhydrides, which makes them suitable for reaction with acids and strong reducing agents in the redox reactions. |
| | Silver Iodide Widely used in photography, silver iodide (AgI) is a chemical compound which is highly insoluble in water and is a fast ion conductor. It is also used as an antiseptic in medicine. Its structure is similar to that of ice, which allows it to induce freezing (heterogeneous nucleation) in cloud seeding for rainmaking purpose. The crystalline structure of silver iodide changes with temperature. Some of the phases of these changes are as follows: - Up to 420K (147 ¡ÆC), AgI exists in the ©¬-phase, which has a wurtzite structure
- Above 420K (147 ¡ÆC), AgI undergoes a transition to the ¥á-phase, which has a body-centered cubic structure. Its silver ions are distributed randomly between 2-, 3-, and 4-coordinate sites.
- A metastable ¥ã-phase also exists below 420K, which has a zinc blende structure

| | Silver Cyanide One of our pure inorganic compounds, sodium cyanide NaCN is widely used in gold mining. Also known as cyanogran, its other applications of includes: - Cyanide mining
- Chemical feedstock
In addition, sodium cyanide is used for rapid killing or stunning in case of illegal cyanide fishing and others. |
| | Silver Nitrate Known for its high solubility in water, silver nitrate (AgNO 3) is a colorless crystalline material which is used in: - Preparation of silver salts for photography
- Chemical analysis
- Silver plating
- Inks and hair dyes
- Medicine for the treatment of eye infections and gonorrhea
Fuse form of silver nitrate is known as lunar caustic. Its preparation process includes: - Reaction of nitric acid with silver
- Purification by re-crystallization
- Darkening by sunlight or contact with organic matter such as the skin
We manufacturing various grade of Silver Nitrate. They are: - Silver Nitrate LR
- Silver Nitrate AR/GR
- Silver Nitrate ACS
- Silver Nitrate PURE
|
| | Silver Sulphate We offer silver sulphate which finds usage in silver plating and anions experiments. It is also used as a non-staining alternate to the silver nitrate. The process of creating elemental silver from silver sulphide, silver chloride or silver sulphate includes: - Mixing silver salt with sodium carbonate
- Heating the mixture at a temperature in the range of 500¡Æ C to 650¡Æ C
To develop a product mixture including elemental silver powder & a sodium salt: - The sodium salt is chosen from the group containing sodium chloride & sodium sulphate.
- The product mixture is then cooled
- The product sodium salt and any un-reacted sodium carbonate is removed from the elemental silver powder by washing it with water
We manufacturing various grade of Silver Sulphate. They are: - Silver Sulphate LR
- Silver Sulphate AR
- Silver Sulphate ACS
|
| | Other Chemicals - Silver Acetate
- Silver Carbonate
- Silver Chloride
- Silver Bromide
- DL-Tartaric Acid
- Sodium Potassium Tartarate
- Maleic Acid
- Potassium Bromide
- Lithium Carbonate
- Zinc Sulphate Solution
|
| | Sodium Bromide Widely used in chemical industry as a chemical agent, sodium bromide NaBr is available as a white crystalline salt. It is also used as a source of bromine ion. Sodium bromide chemical is used in photography and as: Specifications: - Appearance of 10% aqueous solution
- Clear and Colorless Assay (on dry basis) = >99.5%
- pH of 5% Solution = 6-9
- Moisture by wt. = <0.5% Iron % (Fe) = O.001
