This machine has brass pipe upright 240cms (8 ft.) long graduated in cms. Metal fittings and arrangement for exact adjustment, vertical and horizontal. No dropping platform. Electric release weights start falling instantly circuit is broken. Wheel of aluminium 10cms. Diameter is carefully adjusted and balanced on steel agate bearing; platform with sliding weights and over weights.

A chrome plated steel bar 100 x 3.75cms chromium plated bored at equal intervals of 50mm and provided with removable knife edge. Complete with wall bracket.

Made of hardwood, side divided in square cm, having detachable top of 1cm, 1 line of 10cm and one cube of 1cm, 10cm square.

This 10cm cube can be separated into 10 different 1cm coloured layers.
Last layer separates into 9 pieces 1x1x10cm each, while the last pieces divides into 1cm cubes. Pieces fit in a clear plastic container, excellent for display or storage.

For verifying the laws of composition and resolution of forces, comprising a machined aluminium table 40cm dia. Its raised rim has engine divided scale graduated 360°, on heavy vertical support rod and tripod base. Complete with 1 ring, 4 sliding clamp pulleys, 4 weight hangers and 12 weights (2 x 10g, 2 X 20g, 4 x 50g, 4 x 100g).

A planed board, 600 x 75mm hinged to the base at one end and provided with a pulley for the force cord at the other. A movable block enables the inclination of the plane to be varied. The friction slider, 100 x 65mm is reversible and has one side cut away for half its area WITHOUT masses or scale pan.

A Stainless steel rod 1200mm long, 10mm dia, with one pair each of small and large brass and ebonite masses, two steel knife edges set in adjustable metal holders and a metal bracket with holes for wall mounting.

To provide a simple ‘See-Saw’ for experiments on balancing masses, leading to the principle of the lever. Also to show that there is no net change in energy in the moving masses.
Comprises 5 wood beams, approximately 610 x 44mm graduated at 38mm intervals, 4 “U” shaped supports, grooved to locate fulcrum pins, 40 brass ‘pennyweights’, 25 x 25 x 2mm and 20 fulcrum pins for insertion into edge of beam.

Designed for the study of linear motion under conditions of low friction, is made from strong, square section aluminium. Two rows of fine holes run along the top of the track through which jets of air emerge to or an air  cushion on which the vehicles float under virtually frictionless conditions.
The track is supported one five adjustable feet. An air inlet tube connection is fitted at one  end and a butterfly valve at the other by means of which the air pressure inside the track may be adjusted. The track is supplied complete with the following accessories :

(a)    Two heavy and one light vehicle, their masses in the ratio 2:1 with a tolerance of ± 2%.
(b)    Two metal location plates drilled to take the inner feet of the track so that it can be firmly positioned on the bench using
    ‘G’ clamps,  screw of self adhesive pads. The plates are fitted with pegs to support the shutter accessory pillars.
(c)    Three moulded black ‘buffers’ and three ‘horns’.
(d)    One set of pin and absorber (Plasticine) attachments for work on in elastic collisions.
(e)    A supply of self-adhesive buffers for an alternative method with inelastic collisions.
(f)    A set of Magnadur magnets (2) and counter balances (2) for work on collisions at a distance.
(g)    Ten spare rubber bands.
(h)    Three black cards to fit the vehicles for use in timing.
(i)    4 elastic chords with plastic ring on each end.

An economical set of Pulleys, ideal for experiments with light to moderate loads. General construction is of tough moulded plastic, the pulleys themselves being 50mm diameter and carried on free running steel spindles. The set comprises two single pulley blocks, one double pulley block and one triple pulley block.

Comprising a 50mm dia ball bearing plastic pulley carried on an aluminium boss, 20 x 20 x 110mm long provided with a hole and clamping screw to accommodate rods up to 13mm dia. The trolley consists of a rectangular wooden body carried upon three low-friction plastic wheels and is supplied with one strong spring plunger and three dowel pegs.
- Several trolleys may be stacked on top of each other and are held in position by holes drilled underneath which fit over dowel rods placed in corresponding holes in the upper surface of the lower trolley. This enables the effective mass of a trolley to be increased to two or three times its basic mass. Sufficient space is provided on the flat of the trolley for the addition of heavy loads.

For accelerating dynamic trolleys.
With a length of elastic cord with brass eyelet at each end. In use cord is attached with the trolley by slipping one of the eyelets over the front dowel peg. (One or more cords may be used simultaneously depending upon the acceleration required). Constant acceleration will arise if the cord is stretched a constant amount, say, to length of the trolley. The Cords are packed in tens.
