Ltd.” are leading manufacturers & exporters of electrical switchboards, bus ducts, electric distribution panel, power control centres and other allied items. Our consistently in meeting the required parameters has helped our products to successfully meet the varied testing by CPRI / ERDA. These include PCC 4000 Amp. 65 KA for I Sec. on 415 V, MCC tested 50 KA for I Sec, Bus Ducts SOKA for I Sec and Rising Mains SO KA for 1 Sec.

Machining

The machining processes are done as follows:

• High quality CRCA sheets are fed first into the Japanese Amada vipros 255 CNC Turret Punch Press
• Machine accepts the necessary drawings in a digital format
• Carries out the slotting and punching using 31 stations of the turret
• Doors and structural members are accurately punched slotted to ensure higher levels of accuracy
• Machine has various speeds and is capable of machining upto 90 Tons of sheet per month
• After punching, the sheet is processed for bending and used for making doors, angles and profiles

Surface Treatment

Surface treatment is done by following process of dipping in tanks with help of electric hoist of 3 ton capacity running over the tanks. The process involves:

• Degreasing tank having alkaline media for removal of grease
• Water tank for rinsing
• De Rusting tank using phosphoric acid bath to remove rust etc
• Water tank for rinsing
• Surface activation tank for crystal refinement
• Phosphating tank to provide a fine layer of zinc phosphate for excellent adhesion of paint thereby prevent rusting
• Water tank for rinsing
• Passive tank for corrosion protection

Painting

The following processes take place under this division:

• Powder coating is carried out using a painting booth where full size components / frames can be accommodated
• Electrostatic guns are used to spray powder on the components
• The objects are moved on monorail to a curing oven that is heated to a temperature of 200QC
• A non-destructive electronic Elcometer checks the thickness of paint thereafter

Frame Assembly

Division is equipped with various pneumatic tools and storage racks:

• Receive painted components and members
• Assembling took place as per the no. of feeders required in the design
• Total framework including gasketting is finished here before sending the frame to assembly shop

Main Assembly
Here, components are fitted on the mounting plates and wiring is done separately before fixing the mounting plates in panels.

The processes taking place under this division include:

• Component fixing
• Wiring and bus bar fitting

Wiring & Testing

In the wiring & testing division, the following processes take place:

• Wiring is carried out using copper conductor PVC insulated wire
• Sizes are kept sufficiently high to keep good safety margin, colour coding in power wires
• Separate coloured wires is used for control wiring of D.C. & A.C. are used
