Thermal Efficiency In Greenhouse Films :

Transbloc improves thermal Efficiency in air inflated double Layer polythylene in high and Low tunnel applications.thermal Ldpe films with transbloc retain nearly 70% more heat than unfilled polyethlene. With strong infrared reflection properites in mid range (1400 – 700cm) wavelength region, transbloc filled polyolefin films retains as much as 88% of captured light energy. The cost benefit is greatest in cooler climates where the retention of accumlated greenhouse heat that would otherwise be lost overnight reduces supplement space heating cost.

1.Visible light transmittance :

Transmits more photosynthetically active radiation (par) to accelerate photosynthesis. Because transbloc refractive index essentially matches the host plastic, visible light transmittance can measure in excess of 90%. This acclerates crop growth, increases yield and improves quality. Transbloc refractive index also permits loading levels in excess of traditional 12% limit to optimize thermocity without degrading optical properties. Flow and dispersion properties make transbloc a natural choice for highly loaded flims. It Can also be used to modulate indirect or diffused light in horticultural film. High filled thermal films can have as much as 60% haze and still promate accelerated plant growth. By comparison transbloc containing films typically deliver combined direct and indirect light transmittance in excess of 90%. The advantage is uniform plant growth without the shadowing or burn defects characteristic of unfiltered direct sun exposure.

2.Non- reactive properties :

Transblock purity helps thermal film lifeline by eliminating the primary catalysts of enviromental weathering. In silage and field storage application transbloc improves uv stability for reduced storage losses, improved integrity in handling and extended useful life. Transbloc does not block ultra-violet radiation and thermal film formulation should always contain uv blockers, stabilizers and antioxidants to avoid plant burn. Transbloc is fully compatible with hals type and similar process additives and will not absorb or interfere with the effectiveness. It is compatable with all polyolefin thermal film resin system and production method and its incorporation does not degrade film mechanical properties.

  • It is used in plastiosols, thermo plastic rubbers (tpr), and pvc compunds as anti- block agent
  • Improves the integrity of dried flims through their ability to interlock and pack more rigidly and tightly than smooth –surfaced spherical or nodular fillers
  • Dry film durablity confers crack resistance and in combination with high filler hardness provides high abrasion, scrub and burnish resistance
  • Used as an extender pigment particulary in exterior latex paints
  • Transbloc is almost transparent to ultra voilet light and will not inhibit uv activation of the resin or the final cross-linking reactions

It offers low vehical demand high dry brightness with low tint strength and resistance to abrasions and chemical degradation and the best photochemical stablity and the low oil absorption offers the best combination of pvc loading with improved gloss retention and chalk resistance.it has low melt viscosity and high loadings. Improved abrasions resistance and melt flow have been noted. Shape and particle distribution size also promote flatting and low angle sheen.

In most applications of rubber products there is no alternative except other rubbers. It has very high deformability. BR moist free is a special –pre-dispersed additive used as a desiccant in rubber compounds which are cured on micro-wave systems, LCM or hot air. Moisture which is present in all rubber chemicals, especially fillers, will be absorbed. This reaction will happen while storing the uncured rubber compounds.

 

Recommended use:

BR moist free should be used in order to prevent blisters and porosity in the following rubber processes.

  • Pressure less continuous curing systems like micro-wave, LCM, fluid beds or hot air

Desiccant Master batch is a Plastic dehumidifier for recycle PP, PE material. It is a new functional master-batch designed to resolve the moisture generated during the plastic products processing which uses the recycle PE, PP materials Desiccant Master batch may be used to add and simply mix with the recycle materials before the plastic molding processing, which make us carry out molding processing without the drying process, so it is user-friendly, and can improve the production efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Desiccant is an additive having a moisture absorptive capacity of not less than 28.5% by weight. The distinguishing feature of Desiccant is that it will absorb a much greater amount of water vapor at a very low relative humidity than other materials. Desiccant is most effective where a low critical relative humidity is necessary, and where there is a high concentration of water vapor present.

Desiccant master batches can counter problems which develop during the processing of plastics due to the presence of moisture. Moisture can be present in raw materials such as hygroscopic polymers, fillers and pigments. Reclaim and recycled polymer can also have high moisture content. When processing polymer with high moisture content the polymer can become porous and show voids in molded articles or extruded sheet. In film applications the high moisture content can lead to Lansing and film bubble breakage.

Desiccant master batch chemically binds moisture during processing and allows higher levels of reclaim or recycled polymer to be used; addition of higher filler levels; and can reduce the need for pre-drying in many applications. Desiccant offers a simple and cost effective solution to solve moisture problems

Rubber compounds utilizing Moist free Desiccant dispersion, particularly EPDM compounds finds excellent use in tires, tire treads, carcasses, belting, hoses, inner tubes, automotive components, and other goods such as seals, form, tubes, and may include accelerators, retreads, activators, etc.

 

It is well known that the presence of moisture in rubber compounds formulations during the vulcanization process can cause serious deleterious effects in finished rubber products, at normal vulcanization temperature excessive moisture will "gas – out" causing surface anomalies such as blistering or voids on the cured rubber products. In addition to being unaesthetic, such surface anomalies, invariably reduces the service life of functional rubber products e.g. tires and extruded rubber product, EPDM in automotive and appliance, Nit rile Rubber, and thus keeping in mind our R & D has developed EPDM "Moist free" grade of desiccant to suit different applications.

 

Dosage:

The dosage level of EPDM moist free depends on the moisture of the several compounds. Considering the active content of our additive we can say that 70 grams of EPDM moist free are able to absorb 18 grams (= 1 mol) of water (APPROX). Actual may vary with the rubber compounds.
