Mixrite Static Inline Mixers [Motionless Mixers], have no moving parts. Utilizing the energy of the continuous flowing fluids itself, Internal Static Mixing Elements work in combination to provide the mixing action.



  • Static Mixer provides complete, efficient and predictable residence time control for mixing of solids, liquids and gases in any combination under laminar, transitional as well as turbulent flow conditions.



  • Mixrite static mixer consists of modular elements placed in pipe housing with suitable end connection at either ends, and enclosed by a thermal control jacket with inlet and outlet connections wherever sensitive heat transfer applications are involved.

Jet Mixer/ Mixing Eductor
Jet Mixer/ Mixing Eductor

Mixrite Jet Mixers or Mixing Eductors comprises of two critical components namely the motive nozzle and the diffuser. In jet mixing, a fast moving stream of liquid [motive liquid] is injected into a slow moving or stationary liquid [secondary liquid]. The velocity difference between the jet and the secondary liquid creates a mixing layer of jet boundary.



  • This mixing layer grows in the direction of jet flow, entraining or mixing the bulk liquid into the jet. Jet mixers can be used in place of Agitators in practically all the cases where the liquids to be mixed can be pumped.

  • Some typical applications of Jet Mixers are mixing or blending, solid suspension, electro coating, pretreatment tanks, lube oil blending, neutralization tanks, storage tanks for homogenization etc.

  • An established amount of motive liquid is pumped through a header into one or multiple jet mixers submerged within the tank. Depending on the application, the motive liquid can be recycled from the same tank or can be a another liquid drawn from a different source which is to be mixed with the tank contents under consideration.

  • The static pressure at the entrance of the nozzle is converted into kinetic energy by allowing the fluid to flow freely through a convergent type nozzle. As the operating fluid exits the nozzle, it entrains fluid from the tank through the suction chamber. The operating liquid along with entrained liquid then undergoes thorough mixing in the parallel section of the diffuser.

  • The divergent portion of the diffuser helps in converting the velocity head to pressure head at the discharge end of the mixer. The discharge flow continues the mixing action of the liquid and imparts uniform mixing throughout the tank.

  •

Caustic Homogenization Mixers
Caustic Homogenization Mixers

Jet Mixers are extensively used in the Caustic Tanks for homogenization. The velocity difference between the jet and the secondary liquid creates a mixing layer of jet boundary. Mixrite Steam Water Heaters [SWH] have been specially designed to produce Hot Water using steam. Hot water is required in almost all the process plants for Food Pharmaceutical and Chemical Process Industry. The problem under consideration is to raise the temperature of the incoming water by direct injection of steam. Mixrite SWH are specially designed for this application to achieve smooth condensation to eliminate or avoid water hammering, vibrations and noise which is commonly observed in the conventional systems.

Vapor Sep is an innovative and patented membrane-based process for separating and recovering hydrocarbons from light gases such as nitrogen, hydrogen or methane.The enabling technology is a reverse selective membrane that preferentially permeates the larger hydrocarbon vapors compared to the smaller light gases.


  • Vapor Sep is used to recover valuable hydrocarbons and to purify the light gas for reuse within the process. Applications for VaporSep are found throughout the Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizers, Natural gas industries.

  • Vapor Sep process combines membrane vapor separation with compression condensation. The feed gas is compressed and cooled, condensing a portion of the hydrocarbons.

  • The liquid is recovered for reuse and the remaining gas, which still contains a significant amount of hydrocarbon is fed to the Vapor Sep membrane. The membrane separates the gas into two streams: a permeate stream containing most of the hydrocarbons and a residue stream which contains the purified light gas.

  • The permeate is recycled to the inlet of the compressor while the residue stream is vented or reused. Some Vapor Sep systems are even simpler, consisting of only membranes.

  • In conventional membranes, separation is accomplished primarily by differences in diffusion rates due to differences in molecular size. In contrast, the Vapor Sep membrane separates on the basis of solubility.



This reverse selective membrane allows large hydrocarbon molecules to permeate much faster than smaller molecules such as nitrogen, hydrogen or methane. The reverse selective effect is due to the higher solubility of large hydrocarbon molecules in the specific Vapor Sep polymer. Some of the major applications with brief description is given below:
