Resistant Additive For Cement MortarsMJ SBR 300 is a water & salt resistant additive for cement mortars. It will bond cement screeds, rendering and plaster to most sound surfaces such as concrete, stone & brick. It improves workability of the mix & after curing imparts water repellence & salt resistance. It also reduces the amount of water required to provide a workable mix & hence produces a more dense mixture.

Surface preparationthe substrate must be well prepared in order to achieve a clean sound surface that will provide a good mechanical key. The surface should be free of laitance, oil, grease, paint and corrosion deposits. Oil and grease can be removed with MJ heavy duty degreasant. Excess laitance should be removed by mechanically scraping. Re-inforcement corrosion must be exposed and all rust & loose scale removed. When repairing spalled or damaged concrete, ensure that the concrete has been cut back to thoroughly sound materials.
