About Us

Established in the year 1981, we - M. J. Shah & Co. are one of the leading and most renowned processors and traders of a wide assortment of chemicals and intermediaries for various industrial applications.

We were initially a part of CAXTON GROUP of companies, which was established by Mr. Mahendra J. Shah in the year 1962 as a manufacturer of the entire range of Phosphates & Acetates of Sodium, Potassium, Ammonium and Ferrous & non-ferrous metals.

We have expanded our manufacturing activities with our sister concern CAXTON METALIC SALTS, which was established as a manufacturer of a wide range of non-ferrous metallic salts of gold, silver, strontium, bismuth was speciality.

Our sister concern CAXTON PHOSPHATES & AGRO CHEMICALS PVT. LTD. started trading in agro-chemicals, which include Micro nutrients, Plant growth promoters, Pesticides, Weedicides, Fungicides, Bio-organic manures, etc.


			In 1984, we started our trading activities in several chemicals such as Intermediates for Drugs, Pesticides, Dyes, Pigments, Raw material for Bulk Drugs, Food additives, Alginates, Agar-Agar of all grades, etc. Later on, the entire activities were merged into M. J. Shah & Co. under the leadership of Mr. MAHENDRA J. SHAH who possesses vast experience of nearly 40 years of this field. From this onwards, we have started our activity as a processor and merchant exporter. This was achieved by entering into tie-ups with a few technocrats known for offering products of international quality. This assists us to achieve total customers satisfaction coupled with our unparalleled service, cost-competitiveness and timely delivery.
