About Us

The story begins way back in 1987, when two Enterprising Engineers formed a company known as M. Laxman & Co. in Pune, India.
The main objective of the company was to work in the field of Renewable Energy. It started manufacturing Solar Water Heating Systems functioning on the Thermosyphon principle.
Solar water heating is commercially viable alternative to conventional methods of heating water, in domestic as well as commercial applications. Over the years, with experience and acquired expertise, we have developed these systems by incorporating innovative designs to enhance the performance.
We are also active in Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation systems like Solar Lantern, Solar Street Light, Home Lighting Systemand so on. We plan to venture into wind energy systems in future.
The company has it's well equipped manufacturing setup in Pune, in the state of Maharashtra, India. A dedicated team of system integrators and designers works on product development and new applications. The company has commissioned Solar Water Heading Systems of capacity over 4,50,000 litres per day. It has also sold about 10,000 Solar Cookers in about 12 years.
Presently we have a range of products to exploit the potential of non-conventional energy, specifically solar energy. These are - Solar Water Heaters, Solar Cookers, Solar Desalination Plants, Solar Stills Solar Lanterns, Solar Street Lights, Solar Home Lighting Systems and so on.
