During our operation with various institutions of the post USSR Republics for the professional studies for so many years, the successful experiment with the introduction of studies in English medium in the Govt. Medical University- Semey, jointly with the higher authorities of the university, which is already being carried out successfully for the last six years now and more than 400 foreign students studying in English medium, made the same university the first government medical institution of its kind in central Asia. Besides by our joint efforts, the Government Medical University- Semey has become the second Institution in the country for the number of foreign students in it. After the MCI Act No. 34 of 2001 of the parliament received the assent of the President of India, the academy became the most cost effective medical institution abroad with English medium, offered to the candidates seeking admission in the medical institutions outside India. This was also agreed by the former Honorable Ambassador of India in Kazakhstan, Mr.V.S. Verma, after meeting with the teaching staff & the students of the academy during his visit tо the university. The University has been admitting candidates directly from India & other foreign countries since 2000. Besides a number of foreign students from the other medical institutions in Kazakhstan and Russia are migrating for the continuation of their studies in English medium.
