Management TeamDr. Sharad A. Kagal
Founder and Managing Director
Dr. Kagal has over forty-five years of research experience in both academics and industry. After completing his PhD at the National Chemical Laboratory (Pune, India) in 1962, he went to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Nebraska on a post doctoral fellowship for 2 years. He was a University Fellow at the University of Liverpool from 1964 - 1966 and a Research Fellow at the Australian National University, Canberra from 1967 - 1971.
In 1971 he returned to India and joined Atul Products Ltd., at Valsad. Dr.Kagal moved to Ion Exchange (I) Ltd. Mumbai as Research and Development Manager in 1973. In 1976, he joined Thermax (I) Ltd. as General Manager of their specialty chemicals plant. Since founding Modeka Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. in 1980, Dr. Kagal has been leading research and development at the company.
Mr. A.T. Desai
Director
Mr. Desai is a graduate of The Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and a postgraduate in operations research from UK. He has an independent export import business and an Information Technology Company. His wide experience in the International market place is invaluable to the Company's requirements for spotting new trends and opportunities.
