It all started way back in 1927. Late Mr. A. S. Mehfooz, was then the Revenue Officer and Superintendent of Gardens for his Majesty Shri Lalji Maharaj of Vansda in Gujarat. He had also worked with royalty like his highness Nawab of Belha. A Horticulturist, with expertise in fruit, vegetable and flower culture and their adaptation to unaccustomed soils, was also the pioneer in creating dwarf coconut trees bearing mature fruits within a span of three years.
His brilliant career span in landscaping dated (1927-1972) received various awards from the royalties and competitions in horticulture delivering unmatched quality workmanship and supervision. It was during the end of his career that he envisioned of his own enterprise and has thus sowed the seeds of popularity for Modern Farms and Gardens.
This important task of converting the dream into the reality was ably handled by his son Mr. M. A. Mehfooz. The year 1958 witnessed the growth of the plant of Modern Farms and Gardens, an enterprise dedicated to complete Landscaping and Horticulture solutions. Mr. M. A. Mehfooz is the brain and the workaholic behind the company's fast growing success and popularity completing every professional job to perfection.
