Our Distribution Transformers is widely used to control the power distribution to individual loads and offer security for load cables. These distribution transformers are made to improve power quality for critical loads. We offer distribution transformer that comprises of many advanced features. It allows additional flexible operation options in favor of consumers regarding voltage selection, and a reduction of overload power electric wiring throughout the shelf.

I. Single Phase Transformers:

At modern we make 5 KVA to 25 KVA conventional type, single phase, 50 Hz, oil immersed, naturally cooled, pole mounted, platform mounted, double wound with aluminium/copper, step up/step down, core type, continuous duty transformers designed to withstand short circuit & impulse test.

All above rated transformers are type tested from various govt. approved test labs. Self protected type transformers are also available having protection on LV site. The temperature rise will be 40/50 degree celsius in oil/winding respectively over a maximum temperature as per standards. The transformers will be manufactured as per latest standards complete with fittings/accessories. The transformers can be supplied fitted with specific accessories as per the requirement of of clients.

II. Three Phase Transformers:

At modern we manufacturer wide range of distribution transformers ranging from 25 KVA to 1000 KVA conventional type three phase, 50 Hz, oil immersed, naturally cooled, double wound with aluminum / copper, step-up / step –down, core type continuous duty transformers, designed to withstand short circuit and impulse test.

Self protected type transformers are also available having protection on LV side. The temperature rise will be 40 / 50 c in oil / winding respectively over a maximum ambient temperature as per standards. The transformers will be manufactured as per latest standards complete with fitting / accessories. These transformers are free breathing type fitted with a conservator with breather for free breathing. The transformers are filled with transformer oil and further fitted press steel radiators for cooling.

III. Wound Core Type Transformers:

At modern we manufacturer 5 KVA to 25 KVA both single and three phase, 50 Hz, oil immersed, naturally cooled, wound core type, continuous duty transformers, designed to withstand short circuit and impulse test.

The temperature rise will be 40 / 50 c in oil / winding respectively over a maximum ambient temperature as per standards. The transformers will be manufactured as per latest standards complete with fitting / accessories. The transformers are filled with transformer oil for cooling.

At modern we manufacture Power Transformers of 3.15 MVA to 10 MVA conventional type three phase, 50 Hz, oil immersed, naturally cooled, double wound with copper, step-up / step –down, core type continuous duty transformers, designed to withstand short circuit and impulse test.

The temperature rise will be 40 / 50 c in oil / winding respectively over a maximum ambient temperature as per standards. The power transformers will be manufactured as per latest standards complete with fitting / accessories. Power transformers is used between the generating plant and the power lines to step-up increase the transmission voltage decrease the transmission current.
