These fully contained systems offer intelligence that enables network manageability, as well as self-monitoring components that enable the highest level of availability. The row-based cooling architecture, along with containment of airflow, further increases the predictability, efficiency, and capacity of the system.

Rapidly deployable solutions to quickly address hot spots in existing IT environments. Rack-based products are specifically integrated in or on individual rack enclosures. Rack mounted air distribution products solve inadequate air distribution problems within a rack enclosure. These fan products work with existing cooling products to either provide cool air to or remove heat from the rack enclosure. These hot spot problem solvers ensure uniform inlet temperatures to the IT equipment.

The most cost effective way to lower the temperature in a wiring closet by up to 40ºF (22ºC). Wiring closet heat loads are rising due to deployment of technologies such as VoIP and Power over Ethernet. Many closets where these technologies are being deployed are not designed with adequate cooling. The Wiring Closet Ventilation Unit is a rapidly deployable wall or ceiling mounted heat removal system designed specifically for the wiring closet environment. By exhausting hot air from the closet to an adjacent space, it allows conditioned air (entering through the Air Intake Grill) to cool the load. This budget conscious unit is an excellent alternative to more expensive air-conditioning systems, providing reliable heat removal with the capability to lower closet temperatures by up to 40ºF (22ºC). If plugged into a UPS, it can also be used as a back-up heat removal system to an already existing air-conditioning unit to maximize system availability in the event of a power failure. Dual fans increase availability while LED status indicators and dry contact outputs enhance the unit’s manageability. Selectable fan speeds allow the user to choose between maximum performances.

Available in a single 750mm rack footprint, these products are designed to provide a centralized location for the balancing and isolation of InRow Chilled Water cooling units. Optionally, APC offers Pex-Al-Pex piping to deploy a seamless and flexible piping solution that connects the chilled water distribution product to the InRow cooling units. Chilled Water Distribution products allow for quick deployment and enable a flexible infrastructure to grow and change with minimal labor and installation costs.

Intelligent and fully modulating refrigerant distribution system for data centers Refrigerant Distribution products provide liquid refrigerant to InRow cooling units within the IT environment. Available in a single 750mm rack footprint, these products are designed to modulate the flow of refrigerant from 0 – 100% to InRow Pumped Refrigerant cooling units with no minimum heat loading. Refrigerant Distribution products provide an energy efficient alternative when deploying chilled water next to IT equipment is not an option.
