Established in the year 2001, we Moon Light Alloys Private Limited are identified as a reliable manufacturer and exporter of low and medium carbon ferro alloys such as ferro manganese, ferro titanium, ferro aluminium alloys. These products find their usage in varied industrial applications.

With our head office in New Delhi, our production processes are carried out at our well equipped unit in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The incorporation of latest technology and machines enables us to meet the upcoming production requirements and growing market needs.

All the low and medium carbon ferro alloys are manufactured by alumino/ silico thermic process.

The technology that we bring in use at our unit is developed through the persistent efforts and technical expertise of our experienced professionals. Empowered with this technology and our in depth knowledge about the industry, we have met the needs of varied industry.

This is the unique Dr. Hans Goldsmidt's Thermite Process - where aluminium metal is the main reducer used in place of coke or coal or carbon, which are usually used in all electric arc furnaces. As the termite process does not use any carbonaceous reducing agent , low & very low carbon ferro alloys are usually produced by this process which are very much essential for producing steels particularly with very limited carbon contents.

The required mineral oxide is mixed with aluminium, required iron addition, fluxing agent & that mixture is ignited in a properly made refractory vessel by some exothermic chemical fuse which instantly produces huge amount of exothermic heat. Very suitable enough to carry out the entire smelting process to completion with the use of any sort of external application of Heat. This is popularly called as "furnaceless or off furnace process".

The end product of the reaction is a molten slag over a bed of molten ferro alloy bed at 2000 degree centigrade. The whole molten mass in the refractory vessel is then allowed to cool for 24 hrs. and then the solidify Ferro Alloys lumps are separated from the top solidify slag lump. The ferro alloys lumps are broken to required sized pieces, packed and dispatched.
