Liquid Menthol We prepare liquid menthol by subjecting leaves and flowering tops of mint plant steam distillation and filtration. These are golden yellow volatile oil having characteristics odour and pleasant taste. The liquid menthol are widely used in confectionery, perfumery, mouth fresheners, cough drops, toothpaste, chewing gum, candies and several other products.

Menthol Crystal We prepare menthol crystal from the fresh extracts of the plant Mentha arvensis. The menthol oil is chilled to low temperature to separate the menthol, which is later crystallized by slow cooling. Available in colorless crystal form, these have a peppermint odor and produce a sensation of cold in the mouth and nasal passages. These crystals are available in the following two grades:
Natural menthol BP/USP bold crystals:
- (Min. L-Menthol 99.7%, Melting range- 42°C to 44°C)
Natural menthol USP medium crystals:
- (Min. L-Menthol 99.5%, Melting range- 41°C to 43°C)

Menthol Flakes Menthol flakes are obtained by chilling mint oil and subsequent centrifuging to separate out the flakes. These are colorless flakes having fresh and minty odor. Owing to its characteristic aroma and its cooling effect these are widely used in pharmaceutical, confectionery and flavoring industry.

Menthone These are naturally occurring organic compound with a molecular formula C10H18O. l-Menthone (or (2S, 5R)-trans-2-isopropyl-5-methylcyclohexanone). We prepare them by oxidation of menthol with acidified dichromate. Having characteristic aroma and minty odor, menthone is used in perfumery and cosmetics industry.
