Our Products Range
The main advantages of the sulphur dyes include moderate pricing, ease
of application and improved wash-fastness of fabrics. Sulphur dyes are
insoluble in water and have high affinity towards cellulose fibres if
used with sodium sulphide.
All these advantages makes these products ideal for dyeing cotton,
viscose linen, blended of polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose etc. The
fabric should be desized and scoured in open width & washed
throughly to obtain true shade. Sulphur colours are excellent for dyeing
cotton hosiery and other knit goods.
Application
The sulphur dyes are dissolved in sodium sulphide solution prior to
dyeing applications. Generally the best method for dissolving of the
dyestuffs is to paste with required amount of turkey red oil and add
requisite amount of sodium sulphide and hot water. A 10-12 minutes
Boiling ensures complete dissolution of the dyestuffs. After the
Filteration of the dissolved colour solution, it can be used to dye
fabricas.
