Adapting classic plays to mirror contemporary realities is central to Muktakash Natya Sansthans purpose. Established in 1964, we set out our stage across the nation under the able guidance of our founder director who hails from the most renowned school of acting,national school of drama. We commenced with an aim to make theater an integral and relevant part of ordinary indian life. We produce plays of both contemporary adaptations of classic and original works which combine the artistry of professional and community collaborators. By making theater with and for people of many ages,cultures and levels of theatrical experience,we build bridges between and within diverse communities in our home city of Meerut and across the nation.
