The connecting terminals are firmly brazed and best of quality resins and insulating materials are used to ensure high insulation properties and high voltage resistance. Care is taken to remove all possible air pockets and porosity, for excellent atmospheric resistance. The machining is done to close tolerances and the Sliprings are dynamically balanced for a noiseless and smooth performance.

Our Vanes are made out of 'Morganite' (ACPL) Carbon materials (Carbon graphite, Carbon graphite metal impregnated and resin bonded graphite) to meet with different applications and requirements. Properties - Self lubricating, unaffected by acids, alkalies, petrol or aqueous solutions.

Used in starters, Switches, Controllers, Contact regulators etc. These are made from solid hard drawn electrolytic quality material for high electrical conductivity and excellent resistance against mechanical and electrical wear. Tipped Contacts with Silver and other tips like Silver Cadmium, Tungsten Copper etc. are also made to requirements. In case of tipped contacts, tips are brazed with sutibale brazing alloy so as to make it firm with the main base, eliminating all possible air pockets. The Contact area is machined to smooth and even finish to avoid arcing. The Contacts are suitably coated with metals like Silver or Tin to increase current carrying capacity.

For all types of electrical rotating machines. The brush holders are made from brass, gun-metal, phosphor bronze and other alloy castings as per the requirements. Sheet metal holders are also made to substitute castings where ever possible and permissible. The holders and brush cavities are machined to close tolerances and to a fine finish for smooth and trouble free travel of the brush. The spring pressure is calibrated and tested accordingly to the prescribed table for particular grade and cross sectional area of the brush and care is taken to provide centrally uniform spring pressure. All hardware is suitably plated and holders are checked at every stage of manufacture for strict quality control.

Used in electrical rotating machines like D.C. Motors, Generators, Commutator motors, Slipring motors, Traction motors, Alternators, Auto transformers with application to railways, mines, textiles, steel plants, ships, paper industries, Power Plant, Generators, Automobile starters, wiper motors and dynamos, F.H.P. motors such as portable Tools, Vacuum cleaners, mixer grinders, sewing machines, etc. Carbon Brushes play an extremely important role in the operation of electric motors. The efficiency and life of machine is directly influenced by the quality and grade of the Carbon Brushes. Our Carbon Brushes are made from 'Morganite' (ACPL) Carbon Blocks of appropriately selected grades for particular application. The flexible shunts are either tamped or rivetted for a firm connection with least possible resistance. Other type of fittings like saddle fittings cheek plate fittings etc., are also provided to requirement and all fittings including the terminals are suitably plated. The brushes are checked at every stage of manufacture and are subjected to various tests including dimensional accuracy test, connection voltage drop test and pigtail pull-out strength test, so as to conform to IS:13466:1992.

Properties - Self lubricating, good chemical and corrosive resistance, high wear resistance, good thermal conductivity, outstanding resistance to thermal shock, low thermal expansion.
