• Cutting Services

Our dedicated investment in new cutting technology means that we can meet your individual and specific cut-to-size aluminium requirements to a tolerance of + or -0.1 mm so that your custom sheet metal fabrication specifications are always entirely accurate.

• Shearing

The recent acquisitions of a state of the art guillotine, in the shape of a Amada GS 630 CNC; self stacking shear, gives us the unrivalled flexibility, reliability and confidence to handle all your sheet metal cutting requirements. With a capacity of 6mm thick on aluminium and stainless steel, with tolerances of + or – 0.1mm, our machines have it all.

• Delivery

North to South, East to West, Multi Metals make regular daily metal deliveries throughout the UK, with warehouses strategically located right next to the major motorway networks of both Scotland and England. This, combined with a comprehensive computer database of total stockholdings, ensures prompt and efficient metal delivery - on time, every time.

• Fabrication

Our metal Fabrication and Engineering division provides an opportunity for existing and potential customers to have metal machined, welded, punched, drilled, cut or rolled then delivered direct to line, thereby eliminating internal costs.

With equipment consisting of various sizes of ring rolling equipment, MIG and TIG welding equipment, saws, radial arm drills and hydraulic punching equipment, the department is well equipped to handle most jobs from conception and planning to production.

Both branches of Multi Metals in Bellshill and Wednesbury hold the International Standard BS EN ISO 9001-2008 audited through our assessors BSI.

This confirms Multi Metals commitment to providing ongoing attention to quality as part the business and a reflection of our customer’s requirements.

• General Management

The General Manager is essential to the Multi Metals business. With full responsibility for their unit, including all aspects of day-to-day operations, General Managers require a broad and functional knowledge of metal products, have distribution experience, and boundless energy and enthusiasm.

• Sales Management

Sales people are the life blood of our business, with staff at all levels from sales managers and senior account managers to telephone sales executives.We require our sales people to be customer focused, flexible and able to think on their feet. To achieve in this facet of the Multi Metals business you’ll need to be a results driven team player with the ability to think fast and have confidence in your own decisions and initiative.

• Delivery Drivers

With a local fleet of delivery vehicles, Multi Metals employ HGV drivers at all levels up to Class 1. Drivers are among the most important people to our business and we regularly look to recruit new drivers to add to our growing fleet.

 

Uniquely to a stockholder, Multi Metals Limited and their environmental partner offer a complete recycling, reclamation and waste management service to industry and commerce. Paper, cardboard, plastics, rubber, wood, electrical and electronic equipment and all ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals can be collected and recycled. Operating to ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 our partner is fully licensed by the Environment Agency for the removal, treatment and disposal of waste.
