Refrigerated dryers are general purpose dryers, most economical being less running cost. MULTITECH refrigerant system is environmentally friendly in nature.  Refrigeration dryer remove moisture from compressed air to the desired dew point temperature. The dryer includes two separate circuits like compressed air circuit & refrigeration circuit.

WORKING PRINCIPLE: The saturated compressed air enters in air - to - air heat exchanger (Pre-cooler / Re-heater). Here the incoming hot air is cooled by the out going cold air. This is basically an energy saving heat exchanger. It reduces the load on the  refrigeration system.  The Pre-cooled incoming air enters in the Air-to- Refrigerant heat exchanger further reducing the air temperature to specified dew point 2˚c- 4˚c. The air leaving this evaporator is directed to the cyclone separators and water vapor Condensate liquid droplets removed automatically by MULTITECH Automatic Drain Valve. The Hot Gas by-pass valve maintains constant load to the refrigeration system.

Desiccant Type Compressed Air and Gas Dryers

DESIGN PARAMETER: 100% RH, Inlet Temp. 40 deg. C Operating Pr. 16 bar Max. However units for higher-pressure up to 150 bar can also be supplied.

WORKING PRINCIPLE: Regenerative Desiccant Compressed Air Dryers are an economical process to reduce the moisture content of the compressed air to achieve the dew point as low as minus 80 deg C. The dry Compressed Air ( at consistent ) dew point is continuously achieved by using Twin Towers packed with desiccant. While one tower is on-stream- drying the compressed air, passing small percentage of dry air is regenerating the other. The cycle is repeated at pre- set interval. DEW POINT: up to minus 80 deg.
