Quality Policy / Processes

QUALITY ASSURANCE At Muscat we do not compromise on quality, we walk an extra mile to sustain the quality. What we have done is that we have standardized the process of quality compliance checks. At tape plant level, every lot of production of tapes is checked for its denier & strength. The fabric produced by every loom is checked for right weaving, width, strength and finish. Printing is checked for print quality, adherence of ink, and stitching is monitored with reference to the specifications. All these controls ensure a consistent quality. The quality compliance tests are not carried out randomly but it is a well defined process carried out continuously at every stage of production. An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it. With this principle the Muscat has in place a complete traceability system to trace down the root cause of deviation, should they happen to occur. Tensile and breaking strength of all the lots gets checked on Tensile Tester. The production at each process stage is checked to match it with the parameters prescribed by you. Load Test, Length & Width Test, Gusset Test, Valve Test etc. are carried out. To ensure the quality of printing Tape Tests are carried out.
